This game is the FREAKING BOMB online.

Fish, Bates, myself, Tin, Genecyst, and Greene just had the most hella fun online experience with Gears. This is EASILY in my top 3 all time Live games, as much fun to me as GRAW is online..and that is saying something.

The action is fast, there is a very nice mix of close combat/long range weaponry, and it's just flat out fun. We played for about 2 hours and had a blast.

Guys..it was fun. I'll definitely be back on tomorrow.

Oh...and I think I chainsawed Bates about 8 times tonight.

I just spent 2 hours absolutely getting my rear kicked in online. I'm horrible at this game, haha.

im loving the single player campaign. this is certainly one of the best 360 titles to date.

well my friend and i are having a blast on co-op. i hate split screen but oh well. wish it was split down the middle vertically rather than horizontally.

we are only playing on casual though.

This is the first game for me in a long time that truly lived up to all of the hype. I'm playing on hardcore level and the game is hard but I don't get pissed of when I repeatedly die. When you do die it's because of poor strategy and doesn't feel cheap at all. I've never been so pulled into a video game world before. And the active reload is the best feature ever implemented in a shooter. That thing has saved my but so many times.

Can you guys give more single player impressions? I'm concerned that the draw to this game is the Multiplayer. Personally, I'm not really into MP that's one of the reasons I was hesistant to buy Splinter Cell DA. Thankfully, the single player is good enough. Does the lack of a radar and enemy awareness hinder the game at all?

My only complaint on the game is that when I beat it on casual, I found myself saying, "Is that it?". Hopefully on the other difficulties it has other missions.

IMO Splinter Cell single player mode is better than its multiplayer

I'm still early in Act 1, having played a lot of multi yesterday, but single is definitely good, too. Everyone has said that the campaign continually improves as you progress through the game. I'm about to play some more, now, since today is my work from home day. If you're not a shooter newbie, play it on Hardcore difficulty. It's tough, but it makes the game more intense and you won't just breeze through it.
