Here's your weekly fixing of DLC for August 12th, 2008. It's a rip roarin' Roadrunner 6 Pack, filled to the brim with metal mayhem. The pack will be 480 MSP (aka $5.99) and single tracks will be 80 MSP (aka $0.99) for the first month. From that point on the pack will be 800 MSP (aka $9.99) and the single tracks will become 160 MSP (aka $1.99). GET STOKED!

Tracks will be out on Tuesday on Xbox Marketplace and Thursday on the Playstation Store.

Great update for me. Better than great. This tracklist alone would be a deal breaker if both games came out today. Wow. I'll get everything except Airbourne. Who am I kidding? I'll probably get that cheesy assed song too, lol.

Well I guess the metalheads can stop complaining about the lack of DLC.

How about some "grunge"? Sure would love some Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and more Soundgarden and Nirvana.

How about some "grunge"? Sure would love some Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and more Soundgarden and Nirvana.

All four of those bands will get something on RB2, it's been rumored Nevermind will get a full album.

I love the fact Harmonix is trying to get a little bit of everything. At release and first few months of DLC, they weren't getting anything heavy. Too few songs were actually difficult. Now they're finally catching up and getting it out there.

Harmonix knows that you can't please everyone all the time and it's true. No matter what you release, you'll get people that won't like it.

That's not actually devildriver. Devildriver looks like your typical metal mix of bald dudes and long haired dudes in their late 20s/early30s.

I'll probably get the Airbourne song, but metal isn't really my cup of tea and so probably not much more than that for me. The diversity to the DLC is welcome, though.

93% completion on Don't Fear the Reaper(expert drums) before failing. I know it's only a matter of days, maybe even hours before I beat it, but man it hurts right now, lol. Funny thing is, when I practice that last part by itself, it's not even that difficult. I think my leg is a little fatigued by the end of the song, and loses coordination. This'll probably be one of those things that's easy once I'm done with it, but the night is darkest before the dawn, lmao.

EDIT: Beat that sumumabitch. 91% 160,466 pts. No longer do I Fear the Reaper. Down to the last playlist now.

2nd EDIT: Beat it 94% 212,000+ pts. Take that, BOC. Damn that feels good.

I think I'm become addicted to buying DLC so I'll end up staying up til 4am and downloading all six of them.
