Anyone having this issue?

I was playing two people on one 360 online and the game reverted to NON-HD with the black areas on the side of the screen. I can play single player Halo 3 online in HD but once I add that guess it goes into this other format. Any ideas people?

Halo is now like every WW2 game in the world with a Normandy Storm The Beach level. To be played in Territories.

It uses the Last Resort front beach section on territories.

Attacking team starts on beach and has to make it up to the wall and claim it.

Defenders start at the wall have turrets and other big guns.

Plenty of cover in the sea with crates etc..

I find that unloading a clip on them followed by a beat down wins most up close battles.

This game is awesome online. I hated it for a day because I'm coming off of 12 months of Ghost Recon, but now that I have the controls, I'm loving it. I couldn't even get 3 kills my first day (per game) and just finished my last two with 15, 11 and 17 (most thanks to a ghost spree).

I'm pretty new to Halo online. Is a beat down, just a melee attack by clicking the right thumbstick?

Depending on your controller layout, it's by default B I believe and yes, it's just a melee attack.

Really? I've, honestly, never used them. Never liked the plasma weapons.

Plasma rifles are much stronger this game. Dual plasma rifles are very good.

Personally, I just like my battle rifle and sniper rifle.

Anything else...is just a toy.

A plasma rifle is pretty good if there are a few people around. Since you don't have to reload the plasma you fire + smack and repeat.

A lot of these games types people were playing in halo 2, just like this one. We used to play infection too. I would play with guys from AGE.

I beat the game yesterday on Heroic. I was disappointed with the last two levels. Not what I expected them to be.

Lots of memorable moments in the single-player campaign. Some really great levels. I am playing through on Legendary now. Man, it is hard!

Gotta give us more information than that.

Is there an error message? Do you have XBL? Are you trying to play ranked matches with guests? Etc.
