Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
In the first couple minutes of that kotaku video they try to show you that it's not a GTA game and they go on and state that you can't just pull out a gun in public and wreak havoc. I stopped watching a bit after that though because they were gonna start showing a case.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
SpoilerThere times when chasing a suspect on foot you can pull your gun and shoot the suspect and it will end the side mission. You could be on the main storyline and get a call over the radio to take a crime in progress which is a side mission and at that time chasing down the suspect I was able to pull my gun and shoot. Hope this helpsThe poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Can't wait for this game, been waiting for it since the teaser was released back in 08/09.
One thing, heard that some of the content was EXTREME and hopefully kids under 16 should not get their hands on it (Which obviously they shouldn't but we know they will) Then again, sounds like most would get bored and trade it in after before they get to the real nasty stuff.God Bless The USAComment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
This is what happens in the "online multiplayer age"....if a game doesn't have a mp component,it gets pushed to the side and you get the "no replayability" and "to repetitive" comments.
This game would not work with a mp component (imo) so therefore there is none, and for the record this game DOES have replayability in that if you don't get 100% on the case, sure you still may be able to solve it.....but with a game like this if you just "skim" through it,I feel so much of it will be lost.....I'm sorry, but saying you beat a game in 10 hrs when it's projected to be longer is YOUR decision, not the games.....the need to "rush" through a single player game seems to be the "cool" thing to do.
As far as "repetitive" goes....this has to be thee WORST excuse when it comes to a game...name 1 game that isn't repetitive...hell life is repetitive,so I'm not sure how people expect a game to be any different and actually dock points or better yet use it as a games downfall.....to me this would indicate life is a downfall as well then, and maybe we should "dock" points for life.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

My life doesn't seem to be repetitive. Maybe it's the way you live.
Sorry, but games are scripted for the most part...especially a game like this. No one is saying it's going to suck, but it's like Heavy Rain. It's hard to play a game like that again when you know what's going to happen. SP is most definitely repetitive. MP add's in the replayability.Comment

I despise MP games because I hate having to deal with the Dbags who make up the majority of the people playing MP out there.Huh?

MP wouldn't work for a game like this and I have been waiting for a game with this kind of depth for a long time.Comment

So...you don't do the same thing every day?Huh?

1-get up
2- go to work
3-come home
4-eat dinner
5-watch a little tv talk to the wife/gf
6-go to bed
7- wake up and rinse and repeat
It has nothing to do with the way I live,it's called reality. I guess you must have the most exciting life ever to where it's not repetitive...congratulations.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment
