I just beat the game as a renegade and feel like a king bad-***. I was a sniper, turned commando (infiiltrator) earth-born male. I'm going to play through just the story as a female good-guy biotic-heavy character

...wow though, that was one of the greatest 'feeling' games in terms of making very tough decisions (almost no games can claim that), and the sense of scale and story. I heard the voice acting for a female is superior so i'll put that to the test, plus get my lesbianism on lol...i will miss sniping people from 200-300m though, that was cool.

gamefly didn't send it too me, and skipped down to like my 8th choice, then my 360 died. It sounds like an awesome game, but I'll probably have to play it way down the road...

You really love this game.

I think it's the best game I've played in a long long time, but man, if I was rich, I don't know if I would be so generous as to do that.

Yeah, Stasis is a form of crowd control...basically take a guy out of the equation so you can focus on him later. He can't hurt you, but you can't hurt him either.

An Engineer or Sentinel that chooses the Bastion specialty can inflict damage on enemies while they are in Stasis.

This is going to show my lack of diversification when it comes to gaming, but I have a few questions...

I have never really played a game like Mass Effect before (I usually play sports games/FPS/action/adventure games)...can a complete newcomer to the RPG genre play and enjoy Mass Effect? Is this the type of game I should put at the top of my Gamefly Que? Is there anything I should know about Mass Effect before I rent/buy it?

My first RPG was Oblivion...That game was sick... Mass Effect is even sicker.

For me sometimes all the dialouge, and having to poke an prod for information is tedious since I'm more of a sports gamer, but being able to completely control what happens with an open ended game, and using good/evil in Mass Effest to accomplish the mission is awesome and a completely unique experience. You should definitely pick it up, and give it a shot.

Jesus. What is the secret to that? I've probably tried 10 times and I just keep getting crushed. I've rushed at her, moved to the corners, went below, I tried everything. No luck.

As was said a few pages back, don't attack her directly or at all, it won't work. Instead, focus on the other Asari protecting her.

It's been discussed a few times. The key is to basically ignore her and kill all the others first. You can't hurt her at all until a certain point, so don't bother trying. Focus on everyone else. I'm by no means a great gamer and I only had to try this part about 4 times.

to place a nuke on that one base (forgot the name), but I had to pick one of my guys to go on the aliens side. They are pinned down and I am running out of time. I feel I am about to have a tough decision ahead
