Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Just picked this game up last week, and I've REALLY enjoyed it. Much better than Halo IMO as a campaign game. Also being able to decide what kind of person you are and how to interact with the other characters is done very well and makes this game unique in this age of gaming. Loving it so far.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
For anyone who went through w/ the "Scan the Keepers" sidequest what ends up happening? Do you get anything extra for scanning all of them. I scanned about 6 before I met Jahleed, and then told Chroban I didn't want to do it. I got 8 Paragon points, and then had Jahleed arrested and got some more paragon points. Is all you get out of it renegade status and 30 credits per scanned keeper?Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Its pretty much useless. No matter what, you will find out what the keepers really are anyway. For anyone who went through w/ the "Scan the Keepers" sidequest what ends up happening? Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Yeah, it was a nice way to earn credits early on though. I was pretty disappointed after completing it to find out I got pretty much nothing but credits. I was hoping to have some tidbit or something about them.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
You just have to press the correct colored button on your color that flashes on the screen. Thats it.
If your talking about the other one, you just have to crack the code in that one and find it for yourself. Like if you press A and it lights red its wrong. Press X and its green that means the first letter in the code is X. 2nd letter press A and its green, keep coding. The code is always the same, you just have to figure it out. B is to cancel so there are only three possibilities per code.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Im talking about the one that shows the diamond of controlle buttons. Then say the X button would flash green, i would hit X, and it says i failed. So do i just look for the colors and disregad what actual button flashes? You just have to press the correct colored button on your color that flashes on the screen. Thats it.

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Do you mean the mini-game you have to do to open locked items? If so, then you just have to be fast in pressing the correct button.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
yeah that is what im talking about. So it doesnt matter what color flashes as long as you hit the corresponding key that flashes on the screen?GT: Event Horizon 0Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
I never noticed the color, but they did correspond to the button layout on the controller, so go by that (left is X, top is Y, right is B, bottom is A). Chances are if you are failing it is because you are not pressing the buttons fast enough, since it is timed.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
If speed is the issue, try placing your thumb in between the four buttons. You may find it easier to press the sequences faster.Comment
