How do you get consecutive wins? I've won 4 in a row but it keeps resetting how many wins I have and after I beat someones *** they don't want to fight me anymore.

I think that's a very valid concern, especially for the PS3 version. We'll see.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines
MLB: St. Louis Cardinals

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Still can't find it down here in Brooklyn, won't have a chance to look in the Bronx when I get out of class as it'll be too late.
Cool little story: I sometimes find myself amazed at New Yorkers. I was walking to Gamestop on Fulton to see if they had the game only to be disappointed by a line swirling around the block. This guy was coming out and I asked if that was the SF IV line, and he says yes. He tells me he's about to go to work in a few and I say I have one more spot I want to check so he agrees to follow me.
We then proceed to check about 9 different stores and I now know he has 2 daughters and a newborn on the way. After the journey we give each other pounds and go our seperate ways. Funny thing is I'm 100% positive I will never see him again.
Guess i'll have to get mines tomorrow..

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Nah, man. A lot of places don't have it yet. One GameStop I was at kicked forty people out of the store, lol. Most of them had it reserved. Seems like the shipment is late for some places.
There is a blockbuster level of interest for this game though. Kind of out of nowhere for me. A lot of guys at Gamestop were surprised that there was a huge line. Every store owner I've seen has clearly been asked "do you have SFIV?" a billion times. I have my fail safe places to pick it up tomorrow. In the mean time I'll have to be responsible and get some work done.

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
If you enjoy fighting games at all or even just first-rate games in general, I'd say it's worth it. I am having trouble pulling of some of the tougher moves, but I know it's my fault. There is a nice training mode available in the Challenge menu where you can practice and it tells you what to do to pull off moves. I am just having trouble figuring out how to actually pull the tougher ones out there. I have spent very limited time with the game, but it feels wonderful as long as you like that old 2D fighter feel. Definitely and old-school vibe around it, but beautiful in it's own way.
I haven't tried online yet and I won't until I get some more stuff down. We'll see how that goes. I may be on later tonight if anyone wants to beat the cr@p out of me.Comment

I'm gonna have to turn off this thing letting people challenge me while I'm in arcade mode.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Anyone who is planning to get SFIV, this game plays the exact same as SFII. If anyone remembers how to do Ryu's Hadoken in SFII or SFII HD Remix its pretty much the same. I love how they implement the new look graphics with the old school controls.Last edited by jvalverde88; 02-17-2009, 06:23 PM.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Vast, did you see my demo vid for the pad? Good things are in the mail for you, bro. It's a couple pages back.
Hey guys, here is the word on lag from the shoryuken.com forums.
In general, 4/5 or 5/5 bars is perfect, with no lag whatsoever. 3/5 is no major problems, maybe a hiccup here or there. 2 bars is bad. 1 bar is bad but 0 bars is oddly random, sometimes giving a perfect match.
The PS3 guys seems to be having more lag trouble than the 360 guys. I'm just a messenger.
Quick question does the game have a like an arcade mode online like SSF2THD remix where dudes are in a room watching while 2 guys go at it then take turns fighting???"I'm addicted to Video Games, and i chase it with a little OS." -Winston ChurchillComment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
I heard there is no spectator mode, but Arcade mode is jump in/jump out.
I can't tell you myself because Queens sucks
Brooklyn had nothing either. I didn't think this game would be sold out @ Gamestop without a reserve, so I have to wait until tomorrow morning, where I have several mom&pop options.Comment
