Re: Rock Band 2
EDIT: I have heard one of the songs. It was Naked Brothers Band - I Don't Want to Go to School. Not one of my favorites. I enjoy "Crazy Car".Last edited by Brandwin; 12-02-2008, 10:13 AM.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
For real? Man, I will get those for my daughter. She is going to love having some songs she actually knows. Although I am not sure if I have heard those three.

Re: Rock Band 2
Sweet, I ordered the Aerosmith game for GH with a wireless guitar on Black Friday for $50 mainly because I wanted the guitar. I was thinking about returning it, because after I saw the song list for RB2, I must get RB2 at some point. But I'll keep the Aerosmith guitar now knowing that it works with that.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

I'll had to stop with Visions, I could feel myself shaking.

Green Grass took a lot of practice to get the speed required for the zig zags. I can get through them pretty easily now, but I used to struggle at even 80% speed in practice mode, and that was even after I could do most other songs on expert.
BYOB still gives me fits. The riff in that song just doesn't work well with my hands, but my newly acquired dexterity (from beating Thunderstruck) should come in handy.Xbox Live Gamertag: MizzouBrentComment

Re: Rock Band 2
I found BYOB on GH:WT a lot harder for some reason. I actually failed it quite a few times before passing it. As for RB, I've beaten every song I've gotten. I hated Snow though, so I also deleted that off my hard drive. That song was a pain in the ***.Villanova Class of 2012

Re: Rock Band 2
So I think I stooped to a new low tonight...
I bought both Naked Brothers Band songs, mainly for the humor factor. The other reason is to see if I can get my voice that high.
I'm on Stickam about to sing them for a friend on cam, LOL.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Re: Rock Band 2
It was confirmed by a Rock Band dev that those bands highlighted would be involved in the DLC
CMT is home to country music's best television series, hottest live specials and latest music videos.
When I heard that Rock Band was going to add a few country songs to its gaming platform, I was happy. And I naturally assumed that everyone else who liked music enough to pretend to play along with a band would be happy, too. I mean, what’s not to like about playing along with Dierks Bentley on “Free & Easy (Down The Road I Go)”? Well, if you ask the Rock Band purists and enthusiasts, a lot. A few outspoken ones have loaded up the Rockband.com forums with reasons why adding country is a mistake:
“If country is in that big of a demand, let them release a Country Band. Don’t pollute Rock Band with that…….type of music.”
“Country music is the devil.”
“To quote my grade 12 ethics class teacher: ‘Country music is God’s curse on this earth.’”
There was even a poll on the site asking, “Should country music be included in Rock Band?” The majority said “A few great songs (Johnny Cash!) would fit; We needn’t go hog-wild.”
To those narrow-minded haters, I say just wait until Dec 16. That’s when Rock Band will add five country songs to its downloadable content for PlayStation3 and XBOX 360. If you have PS2, you are out of luck because you won’t have access to the online store. I’ll be the first to admit that some country artists would not make sense for Rock Band, like Alan Jackson, Jewel or Faith Hill. But this bundle’s going to have Bentley, plus Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert and the Dixie Chicks. All pretty hard-rocking country types. There’s no word yet on what the difficulty level will be or how these big stars will look as little avatars. But you can hear what Bentley, a Rock Band aficionado himself, thinks of the idea when he’s on Top 20 Countdown jamming with Lance Smith on Friday (Dec. 5).Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment
