This ought to speak volumes about the depth of the track library in this game:

I played Rock Band 2 today for about six total hours, mainly playing random setlists in Tour mode. I saw duplicate songs exactly three times (for those curious: "Today", "Pump It Up", and "The Middle".

      Love this game.

I played over 3 hours last night and only played 25% of the songs. I'm currently sitting at 213 songs. I love it.

Don't forget the freestyle mode in the drum trainer where you can use custom soundtrack.

Speaking of freestyle drums a nice little addition is that the end of songs is the same as the start now where you can do whatever you want if there's nothing going on. Before it would only bring the meter down.

eli, I may have missed it but does the game have a total of how many songs you currently have between the imported, original, and dlc?

I went over to the website to get the token for the 20 free DLC and it says to check back in a couple of days, so hopefully these songs will become available soon.

Lovin' the game. There's a little too much metal (and not enough grunge) for my taste, but there are plenty of fun songs to play. I really like that they made the "choose a song" list very similar to the music store. It makes it easier when deciding on songs to play as a band if you have beginners on certain instruments.

I like the make your own set list in quickplay option. Got the game in the mail this morning, gonna play all night tonight.

I've been trying to plow through some of the tour challenges before starting a tour and I'm loving it so far. I agree that Alive on expert guitar is a blast to play. It's going to take a little while to get used to the hammer-on chords. they're kind of throwing me off now. I'm REALLY digging the soundtrack so far. Not a bad one in the bunch that I've come across yet.

I went to quickplay to get an idea of how many songs I had unlocked so far and I can't believe how many songs overall are available. I exported the RB1 disc and have a respectable amount of DLC (not a ton though) and the amount of songs is just overwhelming. I could play for a week and not do the same song more than twice. I'm really loving it. GHWT is officially a no-go for me. There's just no point.

So I know its only been out a day and its a DLC song, but I'm ranked #49 in Ten Speed (Of God's Blood and Burial). That made my day lol.

guess i need a new set

                            Have you calibrated?

I know on guitar, I'm still missing **** I shouldn't. For instance, I failed out on Rock N' Me by SMB because it wasn't registering anything. Still trying to find the right settings, especially on this new TV.

I think they are just making the game a little more picky, which is what everybody wanted.
