I was refering to the No Doubt song actually,full song,all synth on guitar. If it bothers you that much just don't play guitar on it.

Sprode is another song that is all synth.

I especially dont care about that one tho since I was an Amplitude nerd.

I just dont see why people get so fed up over different genres or choices like charting synth so the guitar has a part for the song. Not you guys so much, but over at scorehero, man, they flip out over every non-rock thing pretty much.

There's plenty of rap that has guitar parts to play. They should continue to work hard to make each song fun for everyone. I don't think rap karaoke is a good direction for the DLC. There is enough rap out there with singing parts and stuff for each band member to play that they don't have to imbalance it.

I'll try to check that this afternoon if you are still having issues GSW since we are both on the PS3. I rarely ever go to the music store through the game though, I just buy everything out of the PSN Store.

I noticed the PSN Store doesn't update new tracks as quickly as the Music Store, and when I'm strutter-happy to get a new song, I can't wait for too long so I just jump into the Music Store.

Don't you have to quit the game to install the songs though? That's always what irritated me about the music store. But yeah, if they get them first, I see why you go that route.

The only free ones I know of are:
"Promised Land" by Vesuvius
"Charlene (I'm Right Behind You)" by Stephen and the Colberts
and the free 20 promotional songs you get with the code from you manual.

The two songs that aren't part of the 20 free promotional songs will show up free in the PSN Store as well and they are organized in the store by either artist or song name so they shouldn't be too hard to find.

You're on PS3, right? Just don't exit the download screen and it installs then and there. It does for me, at least.

But yeah, if you get off that download screen, my download actually pauses, or is "pending" while the game is running.

Since the DLC has been lacking lately I'm considering picking up the GH:Metallica. I just don't really like GH. Anyone picking that up?

I bought a used wireless Rock Band 1 guitar from Gamestop for under $25. I haven't used any other brands.

I have two wireless Frontman guitars (PS3) like the above poster mentioned. Both work great. The only downfall of them are that they are kinda ugly and don't have solo buttons. But when RB1 first came the guitars weren't compatible with GH, so I bought these because they were. I've never had a problem with either of them.
