When I make my character on Birthright does it matter if he is good or evil to be teamed up with certain others online?

I plan on my first guy being a huge tank like brawler of the evil type. My second guy will probably be a good healing / magic backup type of guy.

I got this on PC off steam and stayed up til 4 am almost playing this. Most enjoyable MMO I've played in a long time.

Anyone playing this on the PC how is combat? I read that it was a little hard to target on the PC version.

And to bump my previous question. Is anyone on a pvp server? If so what's it like?

1) Targeting: A guy on the IGN:PS3 podcast beyond podcast was having issues with targeting, but he was a PC guy using a keyboard to play the game. I'm a PC user that uses his 360 controller to play the game and the only time I have any targeting issues is when I'm up close to a large group of protagonist.

With the 360 controller, if you're targeting you can use the D pad to switch between opponents. Works pretty damn well.

2) What are you looking for with PvP? Unless I'm mistaken, one of the things you can do when you're on a PvP server is turn OFF the PvP option. That way, you can enjoy the advantages a PvP server provides, yet not have to worry about constantly being ganked.

I'll have to confirm the second part.

For the pvp server I'm a total open world pvp person. Part of the fun for me is always being at risk for a fight.

If you can turn off the pvp option on a pvp server what other advantages are there?

I'm about to go pick this up real soon. My question about this Birthright server, is it a PvP or PvE server?

I am not going to start my first toon on a PvP server. I'm sticking to just battling mobs and not jerks who love ganking.

I was going to go villain but I'm down for Hero first. Dunno if you need it but on the PSnetwork I'm Boltman33.

I'm sure I'm going to have to DL a sh*t ton of updates & what not so who knows how long it is going to take me to get on. I'm off to pick it up right now. I'll check on here & this thread from time to time.

I just got it on the ps3 and I would log on the same server as you guys, but at the same time I will also play with some of my friends that are speaking french, it would be really nice to be able to join both.

No, not with the same character. You will have to create a new one.
