Re: The Sims 3
How did you accomplish that exactly? Is the safest way to save always doing it as "save as" instead of just clicking on save? Im more wanting to see what not to do so I can avoid having this issue myself.Comment

Re: The Sims 3
Here is what I did, In the Sims 2 there is one neighborhood that your Sim lives in. In that same neighborhood you can add houses and buildings without messing up your Sim Save file.
Now in the Sims 3 when you save your sim, you cant really mess with the town. I went in and started a new town to build my house, apparently I saved over The town with my Sim.My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Re: The Sims 3
@garnett, that was a really good read. One thing I love about the Sims is its community and their creativity. This is why every game (of all genres), needs deep customization options.

Re: The Sims 3
Go to http://www.thesimsresource.com/ they have a lot of houses that people made that you can get some ideas from.
the customization is out of control. There are a lot of websites for skins, houses, objects, mods, etc. The site I posted above has a lot of that stuff.@garnett, that was a really good read. Re: The Sims 3
I feel guilty that I knocked up a Sarah Palin look alike in the game and then visited the infant once and then forgot about them. It's been years since I was over to her house. I wonder if the kid will hate me, LOL!Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: The Sims 3
LOL, I started a 3 Sim game, bought a nice plot of land, and was to over ambitious with my house. It's still heavily unfinished (talking no floors or wall coverings) and my Sims always have a negative moodlet while being in there. I look at some of the other houses around and can't fathom how they built it.
Guess I'll never have a job as an architecht or interior designer.Comment
