    Re: Red Dead Redemption

since a third red dead (dont forget red dead revolver) will probably come out in next gen, rockstar could pull a gta v and say the different gens are different worlds and have a whole new character at the same time of history.personally, i would rather have it a little earlier like 1890 though.would be nice to be able to get into duels a lot more often without having to use the poker exploit.i'm also thinking every 2-3 in game months they could have a dueling tournament offline for some 500-1500 cash reward.it would be a realistic duel and a lot tougher though.if they incorporate that into the game i hope that outside of dueling tournaments, dueling is easy.
i also want even more options, like actually robbing a bank besides that mission.
bigger map- i'm not comparing it to gta just using gta as an example of a classic open world game, gta v has a huge map, red dead 3 needs triple the size.this is my idea of what to do with the huge map:
later in the game, they abandon the whole idea of missions and send you off on one last mission to become the ultimate crime lord:
the ability to buy out law enforcement, needs a huge map so you dont buy out the whole place, needs to be extremely expensive just to buy out a few high ranking officials.
every ones lives in the whole map go on like in real life, you go on a killing spree and you might have liam neeson tracking you down a couple weeks later.
you can join a gang early on and later lead a gang that you grow into the biggest criminal underworld ever.there will be people who betray you in there as well.break fellow gang members out of jail or have them break you out of jail.
you should also be able to own businesses like gun stores and black market gun stores with a possible gatling gun as the main illegal gun you sell.you should also be able to see undercover rival gangs buy those weapons and later use it against you.
once you are the ultimate crime lord you should have: over a thousand members in your mega gang.completely bribed out a few towns to the point where you are secretly getting money from peoples taxes.you should have hundreds of enemies that will hunt you down.
i'm willing to wait until 2019 if rockstar can make this happen.would be my dream game.
i tried not touching anything when i was younger and ended up pissing all over myself.

I think when I am finally done with the Mass Effect series (on second playthrough) I will be playing this game...Still haven't got to it yet!

This game is still incredible. I've very much enjoyed the Grand Theft Auto series but I've never been able to replay any of those story modes three times like I have with Red Dead. The feeling of finally crossing the border back from Mexico and riding through the Great Plains is one that has been unparalleled in my gaming experience. I've never been so mystified by 1900's technology and architecture. Brick roads felt so clean and high tech! Blackwater was such an awesome destination to discover.

News of GTA V has me wanting to give this game another shot.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Anyone looking to get some cooperative modes or challenges in feel free to hit me up. Just got back into this game recently. Don't know why I didn't give it a good play-through the first time.

i think i finished the mexico missions in one long sitting, i couldnt wait to get into tall trees and the great plains.i love all the animals, i swear i've killed about 50 wolves in one small area, its like they respawn 10 feet away from you.

Man, I'm jealous of you guys experiencing this for the first time. This game was such an amazing experience.

I actually forgot I still had the game until I found it the other day. If it weren't for Black Ops 2, XCOM, and WWE 13, I'd do another play through right now.

                    Someday.

lol, if nothing comes to my bait after a few seconds i soil my pants because i know whats behind me and go into dead eye just in time to turn around and face a cougar or bear. i've taken 3 hits from a cougar before and lived, anyone have that happen to them, you should die from the second instead i survived the second and another before killing the thing. glitch?
