Re: Red Dead Redemption
I just picked this game up about a week ago. WOW! I was missing out on a lot with it. I love this game, it's just awesome!
Like after 2 days of playing my 5 year old son says he wants to play "the horse game". I'm like ok. That was dumb. Somehow in all his button pushing he saves over my game and I lose like 3 or 4 hours of play. So I had to go back and do it over again. 2 days later I do the same thing, this time though I only lose like 2 missions I had done, so it wasn't as bad. I can promise it won't happen anymore.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
There's a handful of missions you can accomplish.
I played a few times on my own and with friends. Both were fun times.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Free roam is where the main MP stuff happens. That's where RDR turns into a MMO title. There's all sorts of challenges that can earn you XP, such as the same ambient challenges you encounter in single player.
From free roam you can go directly into traditional MP team deathmatch modes, and objective based modes. You can also do co-op.
Or you can just roam the country side and shoot innocent NPCs or other players, or posse up w/ a group of players and become outlaws by storming a town and killing everything
In free roam you also have all of the gang hideouts that you can go and clear for extra XP. Also, if you clear all gang hideouts in a single playthrough there's an achievement for that.
There are tons of achievements for this game too. I am somewhere at like 40 out of 95 on achievements.
I wish they would've added an Undead Nightmare Free Roam. That would've been the ultimate *** kicking game mode. :POriginally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

To piggy back on what Money99 said...

Re: Red Dead Redemption
When I would play with friends, we'd all 'promise' to be on the same side and do some missions.
But that usually lasted 3 seconds before we started blowing each other away, haha.

I restarted this game since I stopped not even half way through. Still as amazing as the first time I put it in the Xbox.Comment

I was playing online last night and killing hordes of zombies. Totally fun still. They need to release another Red Dead game.Jacksonville Jaguars
