For some reason either the "California" Stranger quest glitched on me, or there was a 'Stranger' quest I missed because I completed a playthrough (playing as Jack now) but didn't get the achievement for completing 15 Stranger Quests.

Are there any stranger quests for Jack?

Playing this right now, first time through. Great game. Loving the story. Up around Tall Trees and Blackwater right now. Really hope they make a sequel to this.

I already completed the quest involving the former FBI agent, and have not gotten the 15 Stranger Quest achievement, that wasn't the one you guys were talking about was it?

What if you go into your game, copy down the list of your completed stranger quests, and either post the completed ones here or compare them to a list on the RDR wiki?

Three years after the fact and this just might be the best game I have ever played.

I didn't think it when I first played it, but time, and more games this gen to compare it with have made me realize the same thing. It left more of a lasting impression on me than I realized. A true work of art—which is truly amazing considering the development hell the game supposedly went through. It'll be one of those titles people remember fondly like say a Zelda 64.

Was the first game I played with surround sound set up. The first time I heard the thunder travel from speaker to speaker, I jumped. With a sub, you could feel the horse galloping. The sound in this game was just so well done.

Started playing again a couple weeks ago and this is still one of the best games ever. I like multiplayer but the single player shines like no other game.

I must be the one guy to never play this. I've been interested in it since it came out but with the little kiddies around I try to be careful with games that are pretty thick wit F-bombs and the like. Was a told right that the swearing is pretty constant or is it not really that bad?

If you wouldn't play Grand Theft Auto around them, then you wouldn't play Red Dead Redemption around them either. I'd still say go for it, but then again I was watching movies like Full Metal Jacket at home when I was in Elementary school...
