Re: Red Dead Redemption
Has anyone heard about the PlayStation now doing well? I have over 100 PS3 games, why would I want to pay another fee to play them again? I know there are more games on the system to try out but I really wish Sony would have the backwards compatibility like XB1.
Do they not want the used game retailers profiting from the game sales?Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I'm in a lull right now, gaming wise, and there's would be unbelievable timing... If its true of course.
Regardless, even though they haven't panned out, I get giddy like a child at the thought of turning on my X1 and downloading this.

I have a huge library of PS3 games and I am now playing through them. I just cancelled Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Skyrim Remaster.
I have pledged to myself the only two new games left to purchase this year are No Mans Sky and Madden 17.
I have so many games to play......by the time I am done with my back log I will get so many great newer games at under 25 bucks. The PS3 has a ton of great stuff. I am back at it with Red Dead Redemption, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Skyrim as well....I still have plenty to do on my PS3 version. Now Playing on PS5:
CFB 26 Hurricanes/Fresno State Year 2
MLB The Show 25 - 2025 Yankees Year 1
MLB The Show 25 1985 Yankees Year 1
Oblivion Remaster

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I'm doing my first playthrough in a while and I can't seem to discover the Savvy Merchant or Expert Hunter outfits. I've beaten the main story and I'm at about 85% total completion. Any ideas?"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

PSNow is actually doing quite well. My old PS3 is whaling like a banshee, so I may subscribe to catch up on the backlog, since my Android TV has the app (so I don't have to run a console), and the DS4 works as good as the PS4 on the TV.
They also have a special for 3 months right now that equals Netflix pricing per month.
Would be nice to see some incentive in the PS+ sub, however.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
It is virtually impossible due to the complexity of the PS3's Cell architecture going over to x86/64. And putting the Cell in the PS4 is just too expensive.

Is Playstation Now actually doing well? Are there numbers to suggest that? I've seen almost nobody who says they have it, even the subreddit for it is pretty much a ghost town. It seems to have no buzz at all.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Red Dead Redemption
It's not like it is something that can be an ongoing discussion, other than when new games are added. Everytime I see a post pop up on NeoGaf, which seems to be a couple times a month, there are people jump in and say they enjoy it, or were shocked how well it performed.
I have not played it since beta, and I was pleasantly surprised how well it performed then. The convenience is important to me, and to catch up on some last gen games without hunting them down is tempting.
Regardless, it is still here. It is easily accessible, on all Android TV's which draws in more casuals who don't frequent online, etc..
I am tempted just so I don't have to run my OG banshee, lol.
