I never finished this game. And no game eats at me more than this one. I hate that I stopped playing.

So I do hope it's remastered before a new version comes out.

Outside of GTA III, Tomb Raider, and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time, this is one of the only games I got 100% on. Took me about 55 hours IIRC.

As for the "ending" of this game...

First of all, it amazed me that they killed off my own main character. But after watching YouTube videos of the same ending, I kind of dug mine more.

You know when John opens the double doors to see the dozen or so men with rifles pointed at him? I stood there panning left and right for about 30 seconds, watching this "ending" unfold, almost movie-like. I don't know how to explain it, but if I ever decide to replay that mission, I will capture it again for you. His life ending almost felt like my life ending, if that makes sense. I wasn't going to rush that moment at all. It was like, me recollecting all of my thoughts with this character at that moment in time, saying what a good run I had, etc.

I don't know if others had the same experience or can find a YouTube video that encapsulates that, but every YT video I find has them going into dead-eye within the first five seconds of opening the double doors.

One of the most emotionally impacting video game moments for me, ever (outside of anything that's in The Last of Us, and I'm nowhere near finished with that game).

I did the same exact thing. I thought to myself, "This is where it ends I guess" and just panned back and forth for a second before doing anything. I didn't want to rush it. I never rushed anything with this game. There was never a single moment where I wasn't amazed.

This was my favorite game ever. The only complaints I ever had was, not enough to rob.. banks,trains,coaches people whatever. And no custom guns,holsters.. like the scene from TGTBTU when Tuco takes the best parts from each gun while robbing the store owner. Stupid complaints just tell you how amazing this game was.

I am waiting for the games to be backwards compatible on the Xbox One. Still hoping they were going to put it on the PC through Steam. Definitely looking forward to anything that comes down the confirmed pipeline.

Yeah, when that glitch was out a couple of months ago, it was so much fun. Would really like them to make that official. As it stands now, can only play it offline and only for as long as till I need to shut the system down with no saves atm.

Willing to bet that at E3 R* will announce the sequel and the original will be BC. Really hoping it's a Games with Gold so I don't have to pay for it lol. I could see them making it free for a month or whatnot (maybe R* pays?) to get people hyped for sequel?

Just for clarity's sake, when you guys say you're hoping for a sequel you just mean for the third game in this series and not a direct sequel to Redemption, right?

I too think something will get announced at E3 (or leaked prior to it as seems to be the norm for big announcements these days).
