Are you using all the bounty locations? I thought it broke down further than just New Austin, Mexico, and West Elizabeth. As in, for New Austin I thought I had to get a few from Armadillo's bounty posting, then a few more from maybe... Rathskeller Fort (don't know if they really have one, trying to remember), and so on and so forth. That's what I did, but maybe it was unnecessary. Just trying to help troubleshoot.

Red Dead on next-gen?
Fingers crossed. Hopefully they go further back in time closer to the Civil War.

Excited for the game, but looking forward to E3 for it probably isn't the place it will happen. When was the last time Rockstar was even at E3? I think the info will just hit us out of nowhere.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
No idea what's in store, but Red Dead for next-gen being announced is the day I seriously start looking at getting a next-gen system. The original trailer for Red Dead Redemption has to be my favorite trailer of all time; I was so amped after I saw that thing, I couldn't wait for that game to come out. And I wasn't disappointed.
I have faith in Rockstar, after GTA V. I wasn't into GTA all that much and was falling way out of love with it (especially in comparison to Red Dead), but GTA V was magnificent. It felt familiar, but fresh. I can only hope the same for the Red Dead sequel...Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I was thinking the same thing. Thus far, nothing's really pushed me toward the idea of purchasing a new console. The minute I saw that RDR link though, it suddenly became something to potentially consider. Also, if NBA 2K moves away from their virtual currency fantasy direction and brings forth a re-committed simulation product next year, I might consider a console at that point too.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
You're probably right TBullet, but with the way Take-Two likes to pimp up their games this would be a no-brainer for them. Plus Sony and Microsoft would love for them to be present to help with console sales. They've even been throwing lots of innuendos and surprise hints around. Sure it's normal but heck, they need to spice up the event. I'm sure greasing their palms (Take-Two) will be in order.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I recall them saying that every action had a reaction. Every NPC had their own personal life.
So if you murdered the town blacksmith, not only would you not be able to buy any iron or steel goods, but if the blacksmith had a son, he may come looking for you one day.
Or how about how they said if you murdered a whole town it could take real-time days or even weeks for that town to be populated again?
Stuff like that is what I'm most excited about. I want a living, breathing world where all choices are met with dozens (hundreds?) of consequences.
That would make the game close to being infinite play worthy.Comment
