It's great to group up but if you die then it can be tough to find each other again. I've had to respawn multiple times since it spawns me far away from the other members. Too bad there isn't an easier way.

Yeah...it's cheap, but I always respawn until I'm near Cherno or Electro. Otherwise I'm just spending so much time running and I don't have that time right now

I have not been playing any Day Z lately, but I will be glad to get back into some games with you guys!

X is right, join the OS Steam group it is easiest way to connect with all the PC OS guys.

Getting tired of people killing me after they find the 1st weapon.

I had a nice run going, had all the tools but the gps. Two guns plenty of food and such, two steps into the open to cross a road. Thud, sniper drops me.

Currently sitting in the woods out side of Elektro as night falls thinking about heading to the rich hunting grounds of the airport.

Is DayZ still a little rough around the edges(alpha) or have they cleaned it up?

I'm just a week into it, but it feels more like Beta then Alpha. I've been putting long hours and the only issue I had was changing my outfit lost all my gear. I think its time you joined us again.

It's definitely better from the initial release. You don't have to wait 10 minutes for your character to load in some servers anymore. Any time I've played recently I've loaded into the server within a minute.

Using Six Updater is still the way to go for both getting started up as well as updating. Game is on sale so hopefully more OSers get on board. Playing solo is extremely difficult.

I got this cheap on Amazon a month or two ago, can I easily set it up so I can be on Steam at the same time? Never really done much with Steam in game before, and this one isn't a steam version...
