Do they usually reveal where the game will be based out of in the trailer? Or will we just see some game play and have to keep guessing?

I know in the trailer for GTA IV, they pretty much told you it would take place in NYC with some of the places they were showing you, so I would expect to find out a location in this trailer as well.

I'm sure Sam Houser will follow up with a press release or interview about the location alongside the trailer (or a day later) discussing their intentions for their choices of location(s), etc.

The first screen shot of Vice City showed Miami Beach.

I do believe we will be able to tell where the games location is based off the trailer IF we are familar with the area. IE, I personally think it's going to be Los Santos again.

If it's a new area it may be more difficult.

Yea but there is enough folks on here from multiple places that should be able to tell if they don't give any national landmarks folks are familiar with.

Personally I hope it is DMV area.

I'm hoping if it's a representation of LA that we get more into the glitzy aspect of the city. I think that'd be pretty cool to see a GTA take on the Hollywood lifestyle.

I hope some of them are true. The "carryover" from RDR I hope is false.
