Heh, I should have sold my stocks when I had the chance. I bought about $30,000 worth of shares. It was rising up to about $40,000. I thought it would keep on rising so I waited. It turns out that it completely dropped down to $0 profit. I didn't make or lose any money.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
It wasn't very long. I had the stock purchased as Franklin. I switched to Michael to do one more mission and before I got off, I checked Franklin's stock and it showed as $0 profit.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I'm at 13% through 7 hours of logged game time. Time to slow down a bit on the main missions. I've done 10/69. I'm going to start focusing on some exploration/side missions and making some money for Franklin/Michael. They're broke. Haha.
Oh, I finally found a place to rob as Franklin. A little 24/7 Supermarket. Pocketed $550. Not too shabby. I just can't seem to find these businesses that you can stick-up with any regularity. Any tips guys?Cubs

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
This game is unbelievable. Already I can tell the characters are so much more interesting to me than GTAIV. The dialogue is great. Graphically, it's amazing. Haven't gotten through that many missions yet and already I've had some really fun ones. Controls feel better. And there's so much to do. Most GTA's I've mostly just gone through the story because I just didn't find the side stuff that much fun. This game seems different.
Also, very glad I avoided watching or reading too much about it beforehand. Only things I watched were the original trailer, which I barely remember beyond it being awesome, and the online trailer. Definitely makes everything feel really fresh.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Possible side mission spoilers.
SpoilerI was riding on my way to an objective and this woman started crying for help. She says ,"She told him to stop, but he just kept hitting her". So I follow her around the corner and three dudes come out on me packing heat trying to rob me. I didn't have much cash so I should have just let them, but brave me decides to open fire and I was gunned down almost immediately.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Disappointed with the car physics. You can crash headfirst going a hundred miles an hour into a wall and its like being stopped in bumper cars. Weak. GTA IV really had this down with the flying through the windshield business and cars absolutely getting destroyed when crashing at high speeds. Also, the feel of cars is too arcadey in that they all handle way too well and artificially. Add to this the fact that crashing means next to nothing and there is no incentive not to blitz through everything at 100 miles an hour.
Do cars ever catch on fire anymore?
Not sure what you guys are doing that you can't destroy cars till they explode.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Graphics are great, story is great, but I like quasi New York more than quasi LA. I would LOVE it if they added San Francisco in an expansion pack. I loved San Andreas with the three cities. Best of all the GTAs. Not including 5, that is yet to be determined.
Still, I am blown away by the transition from day to night and the feel of being in a big city. This is why I love GTA games. I live in a smallish town and love urbanity, lights, and action. GTA brings this to my little office. GTA V does not disappoint and will keep me busy until the PS4/Xbone hit.Comment
