Friend picked it up for 360 and I played it at his house for a bit. I actually really like this game, it's a good combo of CoD style and battlefield style. It does seem to turn into a bit of a chaotic mess at times though. If I had a good 16 man team with everyone on mics that would be sweeeeet.

We tried playing the smaller gametypes but always got redirected to the bigger GC one.

I'm liking what I've played so far, it doesn't really bring much new to the table but still a decent game.
Nice alternative to COD. The campaign is ok from what I've played, although my AI buddies are dumber than a sack of diapers. No help whatsoever, I have to do all the shooting, all the work. I'm outgunned all the time. I've died multiple times because I was surrounded by Koreans and my "friends" were on the other side of the room.
Must every FPS campaign feature have me outgunned constantly? It gets old. One of the few complaints I have right now.

Yeah, I think I will hold off playing this online till they fix it. I don't want to fry my PS3 because of the freezing issues.

played single player so far, since the online is down or whatever. I jumped on the highest difficulty and my main gripe is how often I've died while clearly behind cover. Pretty awful in a FPS that doesn't have a real cover mechanic. As in CoD or Halo, you essentially have to inch around corners to get shots off, but it's hard when enemies can shoot through walls. It's 2011, where's a proper FPS cover system? Treyarch even threw one into their Bond game they made in 2008.

The game also apparently lacks the ability to throw back grenades. Died a few times where I would have been fine tossing it away in CoD.

It's disappointing that the online doesn't work right so far, but this is becoming a common trend lately anyways.

I just got done playing this for the first time, about 45 minutes of SP and approx. 90 minutes of MP. I do agree with what others have said about the graphics not being all that great but I can live with that!!

The SP story is very well done but the AI is filled with plenty of WTF moments IMHO, not the good kind either. There were numerous instances where the AI had a guy only feet from myself and/or my compadres and they seemed totally oblivious to our prescence and only reacted when they were fired upon....very disappointing when those type of moments happen!!

With that said, the SP is still fun to play. I just tell myself that "it's a game" and that other games (COD, BF, etc..) have the same kind of AI weirdness happening, no game is perfect. I'll play through SP because I want to see what happens within the story, already drawn in

As far as MP goes, straight up CRACK!!! Love the point system, the maps are quite nice in layout and really add to the fun.....love a good MP map!! The randoms I was playing with seemed equally impressed, many saying that they would leave BLOps to play this game. The only point of contention was the connection problems and struggles of getting into a game. I'm sure the developer will correct the online issues soon.

Fun Fun Fun game...Nuff said!!

From previews it looks great but I'm not sold on the plot..North Korea invading the United States? And Tibet becomes an Asian military power too I suppose?

I tried for 15ish mins tonight on 360 and couldn't get on either...it'd try to find a game and then have some error about a beacon.

I mean I'm glad it's selling well and lots of people are playing, but I don't really buy the "exceeded our expectations" excuse. So they expected their game to sell like crap and have no one want to play online?

At least have a strategy in place in case your game doesn't suck, you know?

Single player has been fun so far, but really wanted to play some MP tonight.

In the late tonight the game play great no freezes and no trouble getting into the game. BC on TDM is my new crack.

...funny you should mention this,as I tried it out earlier and O.M.G is it addicting,my favorite part of MP.
It really adds a sense of tension when the announcement comes up that you're now on notice to the other team...as well as when the other team has that player you're looking for...absolutely awesome.

..same here. I didn't know whether to hide out,or brave the elements and give somebody on the other team a chance to end my reign of terror..lol

We'll have to team up here one of these times and go "hunting"......
