That surely ideal...has that been announced officially as the price point?

Idk I mean nowadays company's are getting away from both. .There are so many f2p, initial purchase no monthly, no initial only mostly, I hope there's a medium ground somehow.

      From elderscrollsonline.com:

What payment model will The Elder Scrolls Online use?

We will be announcing exact payment methods at a later date, but globally we will be supporting multiple payment options. Players must purchase The Elder Scrolls Online in order to play it. They will have unlimited access for the first 30 days following activation and can continue beyond that with a subscription of $14.99/month (€12.99 / £8.99).

But all of this is pointless because Elder Scrolls is obviously the superior series. I really want TES6 in Blackmarsh.

This right here is their biggest problem for consoles, and even PCs in the F2P era. Gamers just won't go in 75 out the gate, and 165 for the rest of the year. No game is worth that to consoles or anybody in today's world. Thats like 8 major expansions per year for that MMO if relating it the console Skyrim. Gonna be a tough burden on the devs and a tough sell on the gamers.

Im pretty sure they are hoping it succeeds on the strength of the IP name alone at the jump; just to see if their crazy plan magically sticks. No way they don't expect F2P models for their game in the near future. And to be honest, the game doesn't look all that impressive to me anyway.

It seemed like the story just dragged on forever at the beginning and never really sucked me in. I'm hoping for either Valenwood or The Black Marsh

What are you guys hoping some of the improvements will be for the next installment (not the MMO)?

                  I got two:

Use the water. Ships going through, some type of underwater creatures/monsters, underwater ruins. Seems like a lot of ocean, but no real point to it in Skyrim.

Random adventurers. You usually find dead bodies while you go through caverns and such, but you never really see anyone while your out and about.

                    Athletics and Acrobatics!

Seriously I want attributes back. I love the perks and skills system but Skyrim was really lame and shallow getting a choice between + 10 health/magic/stamina a level.

Difference between races. When I'm a Khajiit let me talk like one. If I'm Argonian/Khajiit/High elf/dark elf why does no one in Windhelm care? Why should a giant sized Orc have just as easy time sneaking as a Argonian? (Not saying you shouldn't be able to but it should be much harder in the beginning)

More dialogue lines for guards and random people. I swear if there's a line like took an arrow in the knee or gossip about mudcrabs I will scream.

Fix the magic system. In Skyrim magic was not fun. Can't make spells, destruction leveling was broken, and all spells were basically more powerful versions.

More immersive gameplay. For those PC guys can you really play w/o mods like frostfall anymore?

Just a few of my opinions for the next Elder Scrolls which we won't see for 6 years most likely.

A revamped spell/magick system. They got pretty dull after awhile. Dragon's Dogma was fun to run around as a mage.

I agree with you.. and as far as the frostfall comment goes, you're right. I really do feel bad for the console players. Don't get me wrong, when Skyrim was first released, that's one thing. But being able to pretty tweak and turn the PC version into the Skyrim everyone is wanting "now" makes me feel bad for the people on console. With the mod's I'm running, Skyrim on pc now plays more like older TES games, and it looks better than Killzone's environments for PS4.

In other news.. I find it hard to get a character past 25 because this site posts so many different builds that I want to go and try..

I just completed Dawnguard. I don't get to game as often as I'd like, so the time commitment to this makes me feel like I actually accomplished something. I really wish there was more to Seranna's involvement in the game because she is a really cool character.
The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.

I picked the legendary edition up in the steam flash sale. As I've never played before, is it preferable or can you play with a controller or is mouse and keyboard the way to go?

I could only use the controller. Then again, I'm 90% a console gamer, so mouse/keyboard just feels so wrong to me. Can't go wrong with a 360 controller.

The 360 controller works with it, and it seems to override the mouse/keyboard if you have the controller plugged in(at least it did for me). took me a few moments to figure out why my mouse/keyboard wasn't working at first until I realized I still had the controller plugged in.

I didn't play much with it though, as I prefer the Elder Scrolls series with a mouse/keyboard.
