Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
On my second character and this time I'm a straight lowlife. I pickpocket any and everyone, I break into any and everything. Playing the game with zero concern about money has been a much more enjoyable experience for me.NFL - Vikings

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Started over as a conjure heavy armor Breton with the goal of going vampire. I forgot how difficult some enemies can be at a lower level. I ran into a Sabercat thinking of a one hit knock out and was thoroughly dismantled.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Well I started Skyrim back up... this time with the PC version with some mods. And WOW this game is beautiful for the PC! I don't even know why I got it in the first place for the PS3... lesson learned.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The Boethia's Calling Daedric Quest was really cool.
Prior to embarking on that quest my Nord Two-Handed warrior was a hero of Skyrim, Stormcloak, and Companion. I had not stolen an item through 48 levels, nor murdered in cold-blood a single thing.
However, after embarking on the Boethia quest, and obtaining the Ebony Armor I am pretending like this has darkened my character and there is now an evil brewing inside him.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
You can get this game for $25 digital download for the 360. Does this game have any issues on that console and is it as good as some of the reviews I have read?Comment

Removing the nostalgia of things like Super Mario World and Tecmo Super Bowl, I would have to say that Skyrim is the best game I have ever played.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Edit: plus it's $39.99 on steam for pc. Count in the mods (free and amazing) and they deals you can find on the DLC, well worth it.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Just a heads up:
Patch 1.9 is on beta for steam. It adds legendary difficulty, legendary skills and a crap ton of bug fixes. After a skill hits 100, you can make it legendary, sending the skill back to level 15, restoring your perk points for the skill, and allowing you to level it back up, raising the level cap.
Beth says it should be on consoles by the end of the month.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Remember lvl 81 is the current cap because with all skills maxed out, level 81 is what you end with. When you make a skill legendary, you keep your character's level, but the skill that you make legendary goes back to lvl 15, allowing you to raise it, and your character's level some more.
This is purely speculation, but I believe this is the prelude to another DLC. A hard DLC that'll require players to be a higher level in order to survive. Some people were disappointed that Dawnguard was mainly for lower levels (i.e. 20 or so), and many people were thrilled that Dragonborn was harder (designed for the level 30-50s or so), so it's not too far-fetched to assume that Beth is adding a DLC for even higher level characters.Comment
