Anyone interested in playing the COOP part of the game? I have tried with randoms and they tend to go off in their own direction and as a team don't last very long. Let me know, I play on the PS3 and usually on around 10PM ET.

Oh, and for those that don't know, I have a major fear of open water, and the creatures that reside within (mainly sharks, although they fascinate me). My wife was sitting with me the first time I took a jet ski out, and let's just say she called me a girl, baby, wuss, and much worse... I hopped off the jet ski into the water for maybe 5 seconds, freaked out, got back on and sped back to shore

no, but you can use the gunboat to kill sharks. or you could go grenade fishing. gunboat is way more effective though.

I was scoping out an outpost today when I heard a tiger next to me. I looked over, and he was just laying down, and didn't see me since I was crouched in the bushes. I decided to throw a rock to see if he would follow it, and sure enough, he did. I then proceeded to sneak behind him, while throwing rocks in front of him, eventually leading him all the way to the outpost, where he cleared it out for me in about 15 seconds

I love this game.

Vas has to be the best villain I ever played against in a video game. He really makes this game shine. I must say I am highly impressed with the game.

OMG Yes! At least the first three times I did it. Then I realized that the key is taking out the heavily armored guy with the machine gun FIRST with the flamethrower, then taking out everyone else is pretty easy.

Frustrating to say the least though.

Loving this game. Took me a little bit to get into a flow, but I followed the great tips here and now I have to MAKE myself stop playing so I'll go to sleep LOL.

Best tip on here; bulk up early via hunting and exploring. I've got my good sniper rifle with high powered scope and silencer, shotgun, bow/arrows, and assault rifle loadout, thanks to to my maxed out weapons holsters and ammo carriers from hunting and crafting. Thank you, guys. Makes it more fun and easier to deal with situations.

I have a funny tiger story too. I had tagged everyone in an outpost, crept all the way to it's walls and was plotting who to knife first. Heard a putty tat (tiger lol) nearby, I turned and saw him 20 feet from me. He was walking towards the fence, paying me no mind. He started to sniff at the fence, liked what he smelled, then he ran in to the compound and started mauling. I then broke for the sniper on the roof and knifed him during the chaos and shot the survivors from the roof

This game rocks.

The only thing I don't have yet is the bow. What mission unlocks that?

I love how I literally don't have to spend ANY money to get weapons. Most of mine have come from doing those hunting missions.

I love the bow...it's a great sneaking weapon. I took out most of an outpost using one I bought it, but there is a hunting mission to use one to hunt a black panther. It was tough! Took me eight tries to survive it.

Bow is only good for the 1st half of the game to be honest. Second half of the game you face way more enemies wearing heavy armored body suites with helmets. Bow and majority of weapons do no damage against them, you can't even kill them with a stab.

I'm on the other island now and these guys are armed to the teeth, 1st island weapons are useless. Now I have to start all over again acquiring these new powerful weapons that unlock on the new island.

And far as the best taking out an outpost story. I shot open the cage of this black bear. He killed all 15 guys in that outpost.

I just took one out and was pretty proud of how I managed it. There were two high rooftops, both with a pair of guards. Below, there was a couple of heavies and a charger guarding the alarm system. So despite trying about five times, I couldn't get to that alarm system in time so I decided to just forget it and try something else.

I climbed to the rooftop and took out two of the guards silently with a chain assassination. Then, I sniped one of the two guards on the other roof, and took out the guard next to him with an assassination. Checking one last time if I could get to the alarm system, I decided I'd try something different. I loaded the entry of the rooftop up with mines and C4, and promptly took a shot at a heavy just to annoy him. The alarm was triggered, and I perched myself up against some cover with a LMG.

As I took out 2-3 vehicles with a LMG and RPG, one of the heavies and a charger ran into my mine-trap and died, leaving me one heavy. He has me cornered on the rooftop and I desperately searched for an escape (my guy was dying quickly) when I heard a loud growl from not far away. I sprinted off the roof and landed with a thud, but as I did my best to heal myself, I heard a cry of pain and a huge body roll off the roof in front of me. I never saw the tiger that saved my life, but I'm not sure I would have been able to take one more round of putting out the outpost. After that, I vowed not to shoot a tiger again unless I absolutely had to.
