        mestevo,

In your 4th picture, did you create that rail bridge (I think it's a rail bridge, the sun's in my screen at the moment), or was that already set by the region?

I think you could reasonably say from my posts I'm defending the strategy. Most of my defense of the game is geared toward people ego don't understand what they're bashing though.

They'll get through this, the real test will be balance and other fixes once they're beyond the server overloading. Traffic and some other things could use a lot of work.

My question would be who said they'd have a flawless launch? Once they're past this the 7-9 treated reviews will be well earned, it's a hell of a game, a lot of the things I always wanted in a SimCity.

... Now let me load my city up and avoid the cops in the next Need For Speed... Or work my way though law enforcement or organized crime in a GTA clone... Or I suppose the next Sims.

That bridge is coming in from outside the city boundary, was already there.

                More negative press....

Man am I glad I decided to wait a month or so. I'm still really tempted, but this is helping me stay away.

That and a friend of mine has challenged me to a Civ IV game.

                  Re: SimCity 5

The most infuriating thing about all this to me is the fact that they have a list of servers as you launch the game, some say "available", some say "busy". I choose the one that says "available", go through the whole launch process, and when the game actually loads, I get the "SimCity Servers are Unavailable" message.

If they'd just fix THAT damn screen so we're not fooled into thinking we're trying to get on a good server, that'd be one hell of a step in the right direction.

BTW, my Origin name is TJdaSportsGuy. Send me some friend invites. It's getting lonely playing all by myself in my region.

I'm not going to hold my breath...I mean, this is EA. We should be happy just to give them our money.

So now, NONE of the servers seem to be working. All are showing as "Busy". Awesome.

Meanwhile, someone on the official SimCity forums posted a comprehensive list of all the bad press EA is getting over this.

EA deserves every bit of the roasting they are getting. This is what happens when you ignore your customers and become obsessed to the level of paranoia about DRM/piracy.
