I'm sick about the subway too, but it seems pretty pointless when you only have a 1 mile wide "city". Really think the region play took a step backwards from SC4.
I believe they mentioned more maps later (bigger too) could be wrong tho.

I had an invasion of UFO's. they snatched some people then left. I was like WTF. I didn't know they had random stuff like that in the region play. I thought it was more for freeplay.

I think I'm done with my city....I like the way its set up now

I'm not in the red either so I'm good (haven't figured out how to get money some other way) and I don't have much pollution

So I don't have the computer to run this game, but I really want to play something like this. Would I be fine going with SimCity 4?

SC4 was known for being quite a resource hog in its time, but that was 10 years ago. Without knowing how old your computer is, I wouldn't know. Don't worry about the OS requirements, it runs fine on my Windows 7 system.

                Minimum System Requirements

Operating System: Windows XP/ME/2000/98 (Windows 95/NT not supported)
CPU: 500 MHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon processor
                RAM: 128 MB
                CD/DVD-Rom Speed: 8X
Hard Drive Space: 1 gig plus space for saved games
Video: 16 MB video card, DirectX 7 compatible
                Sound: DirectX 7.0 compatible
                Input: Keyboard, mouse

                Recommended System Requirements

                CPU: 1 GHz or faster
                RAM: 256 MB or more
Video: 32 MB or greater supported Direct 3D video card

I know absolutely nothing about PC specs so using that Systems Requirements Lab site, this is what I have:

                  CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G620 @ 2.60GHz
                  RAM: 4.0 GB
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Video card: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
Sound card: Realtek High Definition Audio

Apparently the areas I don't check out on are the CPU and my video card (SimCity 5 needs at least 256mb of video RAM. I only have 64.)

i didn't have a zombie appocalypse that was some one else, in osville though for some reason things from space love to attack me, i've had 3 meteor attacks which are no biggie, ufo invasions left and right, and now come to think of it the earthquake i just had is probably what wiped out my water supply which still makes no sense, since im connected to a water way

9 when i first got it hated it, now its a lot better now that the servers are working better, im still missing cheetah speed unless they activated it again while i was sleeping

It's way too easy to render cities unusable in this game...It's been under the radar because of the server issues, but this is a really big problem the needs to be fixed. Just let somebody, even if it's only allowed by the region's creator DELETE THE CITIES AND START FRESH!
i agree, its fairly easy to go bankrupt in this game, like i've said before in osville, i've been up to the 500,000 simoleons mark and above multiple times at least 3 times, even one point i left it on while i slept and was up to 1.4 million, and i went bankrupt every time, when your at the point of no return there should be more options then having someone gift you money, and in my case that might not even save my city, since my water supply is basically zero, and my neighbors don't have enough spare water to run my refinery let alone a whole fn city

A quick update. Slow, but steady progress. One thing I'm having a problem with is my casino, which used to make 12K-14K a day is now losing money. Suggestions?

in my opinion simcity 4 was the worst one, you may like it though, i would go with simcity 3000 if i were you though, the world to make a city is absolutely huge compared to the new simcity

your problems could be, your integrated chip may not have shader support which will kill your chances of even getting in the game, i use integrated graphics, and have found tricks to feed it more memory if your memory on your chip is lacking, for instance i can play gta 4 with better graphics then on xbox 360 with this trick, using a intel gma graphics chip, my processor and ram are no joke though
