Anyone know if I can still get the limited edition through amazon PC download (even though it says standard)? On origin it says I can get it up until today, but I got gift card credit on Amazon.

Basically is it based on date of purchase, or will Amazon will leave me with a standard version?

I got it from amazon and only standard, unless you buy the boxed.

I got the deluxe edition on download from gamestop.

I also thought that Amazon quit selling the PC download version of this game last Thursday?

Ran my money dry... had to take a bond out.. no police so people are killing each other, no fire station so fires galore.. People are protesting about germs.. I am gonna be ran outta town!

This game will take a while to understand I guess LOL, anyone know how to completely start over?

Completely start over while staying in the same city and not abandoning it? Ummm I would say:
-tax people to death until all of your bonds were completely paid off.
-bull doze everything except for city service buildings (police, hospital, fire, etc) and turn off those buildings.
-start again and build until you are 600 or so in the green, go do something for an hour and you should have a decent amount to completely start over with.

Oh thank god. I've been relying on you for power, and that would have crippled me. Eventually I'm going to have to spring for a plant, since my 3 neighbors soon won't have enough excess power for my growing city, but I'm putting that off as long as possible. I have a crime spree to deal with first.

That's cool for now, but if you've seen my city you probably realize I'm not going to have much power to spare once I actually start upgrading wealth/density in more of my neighborhoods. I'll have to keep adding more turbines to meet my own city's needs, let alone anyone else's.

Just mostly letting my treasury build up for right now though, so use as much as you need.

I see. So then the other cities progress while yours stays put? I'm just wondering how it works, since we are all supposed to be 'connected' in a way.

I went to go visit someone's city that was offline and their city was progressing while I was just spectating, their cash went up and down and time was going. So does that actually progress for the mayor of the city too then?

Yeah, I wondered about that too. I thought maybe it was some kind of read-only thing where nothing that happens during spec mode gets saved. I mean, what if a disaster hit while someone was visiting a city? Would the actual mayor come back to find his city in ruins?

Okay, so I screwed my city up bad so I bulldozed everything but now I got the message my city is broke and I have no cash. So I can not build anything to make any money, so any ideas? I guess that city is just unplayable? I am trying to back out and reclaim it see if it works once I get another invite. Ughh.

Yeah, I'm going to have to spring for a plant soon. But monthly fees are currently tight, and getting a police force to stop all the murderers takes precedence. "Murders? Pshaw. Making sure I, your mayor, have electricity is more important."

There was just a period of time between removing the limited and adding the standard that it wasn't available for purchase, it was never really removed.

i just had the same problem, only way i can play again is if someone in my area gifts me money
