secondly if your meant to hack everything why do i have a arsenal like Arnold in Commando under my trench coat?
because who in their right mind can pull out an ACR, accurately shoot someones tires out, while controlling a speeding car? There really is no need to shoot out of your car in this game. If you can control traffic lights, blockers, spikes, and steam pipes that's all you need. You have an arsenal like Arnold for missions like Rossi-Freemont.

perfectly said, couldn't have said it better myself...
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

Finished the game last night. I thought that this game had a wonderful story with great background and intrigue. However, I felt that it was going for an emotional aspect, sort of like That Last of Us, but I really didn't connect emotionally with Watch Dogs like I did with TLOU. However, I do have a question for those that have beaten the game.

I also just completed the main story and and have done 0 side stuff. Which is the best? I've heard gang hideouts are fun.

Aiden seems pretty good with these guns so if we are going that route im sure he would be able too..

yea i get it you can hack things to take them out, but sometimes you just have to shoot, otherwise why wouldn't I just take them out from the safety of my base of operations.. using cameras around the city to follow them.

by the looks of how Aiden takes people down hes got some hand to hand combat training along with a decent knowledge of how to use a gun, at the VERY least let him shoot off of a bike.

this game has good potential but it just doesn't have the "OMG" factor for me, if I don't take it seriously its a blast but it has some wrinkles I hope get ironed out in the following versions.

            CONS:
            - Aiden is so far a pretty boring character, he needed to be developed with a bit more backstory. Why is he so good at combat, why did he start hacking, etc

            - Should be able to shoot out of cars..period

            - I shot a guy in an ally with a sniper rifle, those are VERY loud (it echo'd in game even), did the cops show up? NOPE I even stood around while i went to the kitchen to get a drink. If I can use the cameras to watch why don't they?

            - When the cops DO chase you why aren't they using the blockers and spike strips too stop me? is that not why they installed these things?

            - Needs more traffic, the car pile up from the e3 demo was awesome and I'd like to see more of those pileups(specially downtown or high traffic areas)

            - more pedestrians.. pretty self explanatory city feels dead

            - more "random" crimes, this will come with time good start but repetitive

            - too much ammo, never feel like im out gunned.. also should really only have maybe 2 guns on him (realistic setting?)

            - soundtrack, but it can be turned off and i listen to my own music anyway

            - the hacking mini game, honestly i may be getting old but i dont care for those kinds of things

            - if i shoot a guy in the leg or abdomen they should AT LEAST be running MUCH slower

            - A motorcycle shouldnt be bulldozing thru everything, neither should cars.. as my buddy said when i stole a flatdeck "if the FIAT can take out almost everything, this should go thru buildings"

            - No closure on side missions

            - I can see and hear everything, I dont need to tail people on foot and on top of that how would they know who I am unless I give them reason to suspect me

BUT I don't feel like I got ripped off and its a good game

I think shooting from cars or bikes takes away from the overall point of this game. It's different from your standard GTA or Saints Row. It gives you other options from riddling a car with bullets. When I'm being chased by the militia or the club, it's nice knowing I can pull a traffic light or blow up a steam pipe to stop them rather than hopping out and getting into a shootout. I've done a few missions where I've fired, at the most, maybe 4-5 bullets. I did a gang hideout where the only bullets I fired were into the tires of a fleeing van. It's nice to kill people with your phone instead of guns.

I'm not disputing that but the option should be there, I LOVE the blackout tech it reminds me of splinter cell.. I try to use stealth as much as possible but when things go wrong!

How many hands does he have? Driving, hacking, and shooting? Or just driving and hacking or shooting?

I just don't like being shot at but can't shoot back. Kind of meh.... and we should really avoid the whole "unrealistic" argument. Considering I can use my focus and slow down time and turn into a spider etc etc.

Right. It just seems like a design/gameplay decision.

Well, I want GTA to not have stiff controls and to feature competent melee/fighting mechanics.

Sometimes we never get what we want.
