Re: Watch Dogs
I think you're overreacting to the whole thing to be honest. But hey, that's just me.Comment

Originally posted by ya boy hollywudI get the complaint about not being able to shoot out of a moving vehicle, but this is probably a rare case where it isn't needed. The developers want people take advantage of the hacking part of the game, if you could shoot out of your car and take out a target there would be no need to manipulate traffic lights or blockers.
For example, I was doing the a gang hideout mission. My target gets into a huge van and starts to drive away. I hop on a motorcycle and chase him down. When I finally catch up to him, I think to myself; "Wait a minute, how the hell am I going to take him down?" The bike is obviously not able to ram the van off the road and I am not able to shoot while driving. I had to be super patient, but I finally manipulated the traffic lights to where oncoming traffic ran into the van causing the drive to get stuck and him having to run out of the van and get away on foot.
I just started playing the game, BTW. Starting off on realism (not sure what it's called) and I like it a lot.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Drive by shootings rarely hit the intended target....it's "spray and pray"...not like you can target a tire with a sniper rifle while driving 90...
I get your point, just don't feel how games implement shooting from cars is anywhere near realistic.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
If they implement shooting from a car, it would feel weird not to use it if it's the easiest way to get the job done. so while you would have the option to only use hacking, I know for some people it just feels weird and takes away the feeling of having to get creative because you don't really 'have" to.i tried not touching anything when i was younger and ended up pissing all over myself.Comment

Those are some bad *** screens Cowher. They need theme music..
Too bad Ubi can't patch in a camera mode into our smartphones..EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
I had my reputation bar ALL the way to the right before the last mission, I ended up just above "Protector". I can go back and raise it up, right?
As far as the actual game, the further I got in it the more I realized this would have been a much better story as a TV show. It was very good story wise, even if the ending was rather abrupt. And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment
