I saw notoriety points show up, but I may be confusing that with bounty that's placed on you. Bounty was for single player and notoriety was for the online portion correct?

On the online things, I was mostly invaded and was winning roughly 50% of them. Had a couple that appeared to just be broke, where it would tell me I was being invaded and I needed to find the invader, and then it would end telling me I had been 'successfully tailed'. Very confusing and appeared to be a bug to me where I was playing one type of mission and the other player was playing another type of mission, with him winning every time that issue occurred. Note I never played via the online map, it was always autotriggered when I was playing single player, and usually RIGHT before I was about to start a mission (so annoying!).

A player can enter into your single player game at any time you are not in a mission. Either tailing you or preparing to hack you. You will not know a player is in your game until any of the following happens. 1) You try to start a mission. 2) You profile them. 3) They initiate a hack on you. A player could complete a tailing mission against you, and you wouldn't know until it says you were successfully tailed. You don't lose points for getting successfully tailed.

Pretty lame how you're not allowed to do drinking games back to back after defeating an opponent. I get he is passed out drunk, but it makes completing the challenge too time consuming. I wanna get it over with and be done with it.

Was at best buy, about to pick up the game, made a check of this thread, read about 5 pages, decided against buying it. I'll wait for a price cut or until I have 60 bucks to just burn.

Well written. That is exactly how it is. I am one of those PS4 guys who constantly looks to invade as I just love this aspect of the game. The worst one yesterday for me though was when I was trying to hack someone and my avatar got stuck in the side of a car and I couldn't move. I just ran on the spot but couldn't get off the side of the car. I got profiled and dispatched quickly because of it and I lost 250 points. Hurts when a glitch is responsible however I have to say that is a very rare occurrence.

                Re: Watch Dogs

I got in a zone playing this last night and finished up the campaign. I thought the story got a lot more interesting as the game progressed and I enjoyed the ride for the most part. I didn't bother with too much of the side stuff other than unlocking the towers and stopping crime, so I might give some of that a shot now that I'm done. The couple of criminal convoys and gang hideouts that I did were pretty fun.

The driving was horrible and the soundtrack isn't winning any awards, but I found the gunplay to be very satisfying. I didn't bother putting it on realistic difficulty, I just stuck with the default settings. That ended up being more than decent enough for me.

One thing I appreciated about this game is that I didn't get invaded but a few times while playing this. When I did, I found it annoying, so fortunately they didn't constantly interrupt me while playing. If I wasn't so focused on trying to do the campaign, I'm sure that I would've liked that aspect of the game more.

Even though I enjoyed Watch Dogs, it really doesn't strike me as a game that needs a sequel. I'm sure they'll try to milk this as a franchise, though. I guess another city could be interesting, but I think this one should stand alone. But who knows, maybe I'll want to revisit this in a few years when it isn't so fresh on my mind.

And I swear that this game has the longest credits in the history of mankind. I think they listed anybody who has had anything to do with Ubisoft, down to the janitors, lol.

Back to Wolfenstein now. Watch Dogs definitely sidetracked me for a bit.

Personally found the driving to be good/fun. My comparison is based off playing games like GTAIV where driving was horrible and Saints Row where it was even less realistic. Driving definitely leaned towards Saints Row style without some of the over the top aspects.

I liked that aspect, and yet found it annoying when doing missions. Wish they'd let you toggle whether you'd want to be in it or not so we could control it. That's definitely something that I hope they address moving forward.

Apparently this game is the best selling game in Ubisoft's history. It's now officially a franchise, so there will be sequels. Of course, sequel's don't always mean we play as the same hero/character.

Music Tip -- The soundtrack can be edited. I took out all of the music except for the punk/rock ones. Made for a decent soundtrack for my music tastes at that point. Might give it an edit to tune it to your style if you play on playing for awhile.

Wow, I didn't know that. I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering how much advertising that they did for it.

I'd like to see a Watchdogs/Assassins Creed hybrid. Past in the animus its AC gameplay. Present day when you come out of the animus it Watchdogs gameplay. Same city in different time periods.

Sorry, I should have said 'fastest' selling game instead of best.

They officially announced it is a Franchise.

I may be wrong, but it feels like we don't have as many games for the launch of this generation of consoles. Either that, or I'm consuming games faster than I did last generation. One of those statements is accurate, or perhaps the truth lies somewhere in between.

FYI - you can toggle the online aspect on/off already.

How? I saw how it could be turned on after a connection was lost, but didn't see how it could be turned off.

In the online options of the game. Believe it is under online invasions. If you turn it off it resets your notoriety...FYI.

I would love if more locations were open to go into, especially for the online hacking invasion part of the game. Sure would be cool to have a large building be the location to find your online hacker and have to figure out what floor they were on and room, etc.
