Re: State of Decay (GTA meets Zombie Apocalypse - Xbox Exclusive)
Np, thats been the biggest stash i found so far. I did like 4-5 runs then moved to the warehouse. 14 deep atm, group is strong. Monopolized that block with traps to fend off hordes.
Upgraded all my facilities at the warehouse. Garden, library, tower, med bay, training area, etc. We have a sweet dojo. If multiplayer ever comes you guys are welcome to a free one month pass.5Comment

That's what I'm talking about lol
I'm like 5 or 6 hours in and I'm sitting at 8 survivors at the church. I've lost 2 survivors so far, while I've have Marcus ranked up very high.
I just upgrade the tower to a shooting tower with a person up top the problem is they have a loud *** shotgun and it continues to bring in zombie after zombie. I'm thinking I'm going to need to focus on building material runs and quit going on missions for a little while.

Re: State of Decay (GTA meets Zombie Apocalypse - Xbox Exclusive)
Pastor Will and Alan the Cop are both gone.
Pastor Will got black fever somehow. Not sure how considering the lazy *** wouldn't do anything except bitch, create negativity, and stay holed up at the home base. Anyway, Lilly radios that Pastor Will is sick. So I (Maya at the time) head back to the base. I get there and everybody's having fun. I "greet" Pastor Will. Maybe he'll turn the corner?
I head back out for a close supply run. Lilly radios that I need to come back ASAP. I get back and Alan has shot Pastor Will. ****er, I wanted to do that. So, a group of us chastise him for taking away our glory - I mean, we needed to "vote" on it or something.
Some time passes and what do ya know, Alan has gotten the fever. Yeah boy. I took him out behind the shed. Dude didn't say anything. Didn't beg anything. He showed great courage. And then his head came off.
This game is glorious.
I'm starting to get the hang of it more and more and how to handle/time missions out so that I don't miss every opportunity. Gonna try and max out my neighbors trust and hopefully recruit some people now that I've got some vacancies.

Updates from Undead Labs Twitter account:
We don't have an exact ETA on the patch. It has to be tested and verified by the XBLA team before we'll get a date to give you.
If you're not getting any story missions, look in the upper left corner under the map. Do any tasks there. Should clear the block.Comment

Walking Dead slow until they see you, then 28 Days fast. Most of them at least.
I'm scared to see the shape everything is in when I get back on. Pastor had the Black Fever, Alan has a fever, Maya's missing, 2 of my characters are hurt, and Marcus is tired. Morale is down, I don't have enough building materials to relocate, and there are 6 infestations around the church.

Worth every penny. I think the couple who did not like it didn't put enough time into it. Because it looks rough on the outside and seems shallow on the surface but as you get deeper into it man does it truly feel like a living world. I say one of the most authentic I can think of.Comment

Re: State of Decay (GTA meets Zombie Apocalypse - Xbox Exclusive)
It boggles my mind how well the game is for the size, scope, and budget. Its doing open world better than a lot major studios are.
I feel like if this game got the "big studio" treatment and fleshed out all of its gameplay mechanics it would be an instant classic.

It's best to kill the Pastor ASAP so he doesn't infect the rest of your camp or go crazy and start killing your crew.Comment

Yeah, I didn't waste any time disposing of Alan.
