Hey guys, I play a mod for ARMA3 called Breaking Point. It's just like DayZ, and that's why I am posting in here. (thought since they are same why make new thread).

If anyone is playing that game currently and want to group up and wreck havoc through the wasteland I am down. I am paired up with chizzypoof, and we are always looking for some extra eyes and storage space.

Or if you don't maybe we can share our experinces with each other. If no one minds its in this thread.

LOL. It appears I'm already friend's with you. I didn't even realize it. I will join up. My wife may join up to. I might be the luckiest man on earth. My wife doesn't like most video games except co op RPG's and tactical shooters. We play the hell out of Dayz SA. So she should be up and running soon on Breaking Point. BTW she is excellent at these type of cerebral shooters.

Hey guys, this was recorded by Chizzy when we were heading back to town to find him some antivirals. The action doesn't really start till the 3:45 mark, but you can watch the whole thing to get the "back story". The screen will shake, but that is because he is sick. Hope y'all enjoy!

How do you survive as a newbie in this game? ?? Zombies that do not stop chasing, no way to fight back, and then throw in fully equipped a..holes that torture and kill you? Really sickos? I want to like this game, but need serious help or advice to survive beginning when you start with nothing.

I haven't played Standalone, but on the mod version it was hard but possible. Easier if you're with a group, but otherwise you mostly just need to get lucky and find some guns and stuff to start out with. Once you can get somewhat settled you'll be able to defend yourself while you find things.

It's the same for both. Head north and inland, search houses when you can.

It took me a couple of deaths before I was able to find a semi auto rifle... now just to search for bullets.

Yeah, if you're lucky enough to get a rifle (and then bullets) then you'll be ok if you're careful and avoiding big cities (or being very very careful inside them).

I usually ended up doing death runs to the airfields or areas in big cities that'd have weapons, but rarely got lucky in the mod. I'd hope the standalone is a bit better at letting you find loot that doesn't suck.
