Yes.

In fact send every ship you can spare to your fleet. Even if you don't have dock space they're worth good salvage to help towards buying docks.


Edit: Another tip to acquiring ships before you can solo them.

I found a Man O' War that was docked and damaged, I tired and actually destroyed it, but I could never actually take it. I boarded it 2 times and somehow ended up desyncing. The other times I must have hit it too much as it was destroyed.

Has anyone seen and social items the past few days? Royal Convoy, chest, white whale? I used to see them all the time and it's been almost a week since I've seen any social stuff.

I found a couple convoys last night but haven't seen whales or chests in days.

They've been messing with it for sure. One night last week I found 3 whales within about an hour and a half. Then on another night, just about every time I stepped on land I found a chest.

It is damn cool swinging from the top of the mast and air assassinating the captain of the ship your crew is boarding.

This will definitely be the next game I get for the PS4. I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3 and the scale of this game seems to be even more massive, can't wait to finally check it out.

This will definitely be the next game I get for the PS4. I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3 and the scale of this game seems to be even more massive, can't wait to finally check it out.

If you liked 3 you'll definitely like 4. I'm generally a fan of the series but played 8-9 hours of 3 and just got super bored, and I'm from Boston and thought it would be awesome.

The world is huge, just going around in your boat stealing and destroying everything is so fun. Just got the diving bell so I can start exploring the underwater wrecks which is also a lot of fun.

Also shanties, at first you'll think it's kind of dumb but they grow on you and now I always have one stuck in my head and go out of my way to track them down when they show up on my map. (Except for this past weekend when I saw Springbreakers and still can't get that Britney Spears song out of my head.)

Looks like social sharing and fleet help can only happen via uplay friends and not your console friends list.
