How did you guys get to level 8? I'm a little over 1/3 of the way there and already did all the side missions and encounters.

I might have to switch to digital download for this game for the midnight access.

The Alpha was not extended. I was hoping they would, but they didn't.

Maybe someone was talking to me about a different alpha, like Destiny, I dunno. A lot of chat went down the last couple nights. I mixed it up.

Has anyone had to split groups into two (like a group of 4, and another group of 3) and still play together? Can you have two separate groups in one game?

Can only have up to 4 in a group outside and in darkzones.

Only way you can "technically" have more than 4 in a group in Darkzones is to stumble upon your other friends in a darkzone then have thier group be with you. Very rare possibility though.

Nice that the beta is extended until Tues but I think I am going to slow down with it unless new content in released (Its a beta so I doubt it)

Its funny, the amount of play time I put into my beta characters gear but I can beat it in prob a couple of hours in retail. Lol.

Really wish my key would've been sent to me, not even showing in the beta access portion of my profile. Oh well, the comments about the game turned this from a hit or miss to a sure fire sale. Next few months are going to be huge for gaming!

That's good news on the extension. I think someone told me that the Alpha was extended as well so that is cool that they do that.

I have some things I need to take care of today and tomorrow but hopefully I get a session or two in with yall the next couple days.

I just can't wait to see what the full game offers. I can see myself getting lost in just doing all sorts of side missions/activities and maxing out my crafting supplies

I wasn't really sure if I would like this game and decided until the last minute to do the pre-order so I could play the beta and I am loving it. The dark zone is hit or miss but I am enjoying the side missions and all the other stuff you can do. I will definitely be getting this when it comes out.

Being from NJ I love that it is set in NYC. They have a done a great job of recreating the city.

If you go back to the Chelsea area , check the situation board and talk to the officer inside the tent. Your map will be updated with more side missions/ activities, as well as running the hospital mission on hard over.

If you end up doing the midnight deal on release night let me know, I might do the same. If I am unable to join up with you guys the next couple days don't forget about me when retail hits, lol. Really looking forward to it.

I am really exciting to try a support/healer build with a turret and healing ability slotted, going with skill power and health as my primary attributes while you guys do the heavy hitting

Im seriously thinking about cancelling my preorder (pais off) at best buy and either going digital or gamestop so I can get this midnight. I really dont like digital copies of games though so prob doing gamestop.

I speak solely as someone who has ONLY played in the Dark Zone with at least 2 other guys, and typically with a full four man group, but I think it is absolutely a huge success (the dark zone). Again, I can understand how a different play environment to the one I have experienced may change how enjoyable the DZ is, for sure. I also completely understand that regardless of going solo or rolling with 3 heavy hitting buttkickers maybe the DZ just isn't for everyone.

I just feel it is going to be a huge hit and we are going to see it copied/replicated in many open world games going forward.

Regardless, it's great you enjoyed the beta. You are on Xbox One right? I keep forgetting where everyone has said they are gaming on.

I received a code in my e-mail earlier today for the PS4 version. Really is a fun game especially when playing with a group which it was designed for. Took me a bit to get comfortable with everything but the guys I was with were really helpful. Glad the beta was extended an extra day.

I have only gone into the DZ solo so I am sure you are right in that if you are with other people it will get better. I only got attacked when someone called the chopper. The rest of the time it was pretty good. Came up against the CPU and got killed pretty quickly. I am sure leveling up will help that.

Yeah going midnight guaranteed. Just got to figure out whether to go digital or Gamestop.
