Re: Crusader Kings II
1300 AD
Spoiler
not exactly sure what keeps going on with Francia/HRE. it keeps splitting, merging, revolting, merging, splitting again. I guess it's good as they are not expanding anymore. Sweden took a chuck of their lands though, as has Britannia, which is not so good. Byzantium looks to finally be done. down to 2 provinces, one being Venice.
Mongols never attacked in these 50 years. I've mostly just help Poland survive in a few wars, and fended off invasions from peasant revolts and "adventurers" who tried to invade.Comment

Re: Crusader Kings II
So, I made a joke run through (as in not trying too hard) and ended up having a crazy game. I was I believe Dal, the one county 'country' in the finland, denmark area.
The UK fell in a war against I believe Finland, and ceased to exist (albeit rebel groups for their freedom cropped up excessively).
My obsession with assassinating people led my first character to being assassinating and his 12 year old son coming into power, I had a war declared on me and managed to fend them off without the help of my Grandfather (who was a king), so naturally, I got rid of him.
Later on, years down the road, the mother married another king who ended up declaring war, needless to say, after the war was resolved, the first wife of the character I had, had an accident.
The last notable thing was a crusade, my little half sister joined as did I, and she ended up taking off Jerusalem. I got a notification saying she favored me as her heir, and.. well I think you can get the idea of what I did next.
I ended up quitting after being king of Jerusalem.
Needless to say, I'm glad that I preordered EU IV, this game is a lot of fun, especially when I can mess around and still enjoy myself (albeit not have a solid foundation, I'm sure I would've been destroyed had I kept playing).
I'll dig into a more serious try later on, but so far, I definitely am enjoying it.Bulls|Bears|Cubs| Blackhawks|Huskies|Horned Frogs|

Re: Crusader Kings II
The AGOT mod has just be updated to include Essos
Patch 0.5 Notes
Essos has finally arrived! This huge new continent contains hundreds of new provinces and characters, from the Free Cities to all the way upto Qarth in East, and from Ibben in the North to the Summer Islands in the south. With this new continent many existing mechanics and scenarios have been adjusted. The most noteworthy additions are:
- Slavery- an extensive system has been added to model the slave trade in the east
- Piracy- Take control of a pirate in the Stepstones or Basilisk Isles
- Ninepenny Kings Scenario- Try and conquer Westeros as Maelys Blackfyre
- Bleeding Years scenarioComment

Re: Crusader Kings II
picked up the customization pack DLC on Amazon, I happened to see it on sale and it just called to me to buy it I did manage not to get the newer DLcs yet. I'll probably hold off until they go on sale.
I haven't played CKII in quite some time, don't think I have played since it upgraded to 2.0 and added Ironman mode, got caught up in other games(mainly Dayz mode for Arma II) and EUIV+mods.Comment
