I usually don't buy DLC for games like this, but I think I will this time just to have more missions to use some of my abilities I never got into. Like the Shadow Strike Kill ability, that move is awesome and I was late unlocking it.

SpoilerThat move is awesome once you unlock the ability to link Shadow Kill attacks together. You can take out a line or Uruks in seconds.
I'll probably trade mine in, though. Wal-Mart is giving ~$30 for it.

Re: Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
It'll vary for each player. The Nemesis system is fun to mess around with and just cause havoc amongst the ranks. Some may find enjoyment in that while others probably didn't do much more than the story missions required.

Re: Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
The game offers 30-60 hours of content to complete 100% depending on your play style. If that's not worth $60 to you, I think your single-player gaming choices might be limited outside of RPGs and sports games.

Re: Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
The second half of this game is ****ing epic. Seriously, the gameplay and story come to a head at the same time and it's magical.
Spoilers ahead!
SpoilerSo the game obviously sets itself up for a sequel. Knowing the cannon of the universe, our character can't possibly win. So it will be interesting to see how they turn an already grim storyline into something even darker.
How awesome is it when your nemesis pops up at the end of the game? I had this particular Orc that was a level 19 by the time I finally killed him. I got chills down my spine when he popped up again.
The only minor disappointment was the final boss, but I figured it would be brief given the game had gotten so heavy-handed with its plot elements at that point.Writer for Operation Sports

Every damn time I tell myself maybe it's time to continue the story, some d-bag ork captain will kill me and I'll spend the rest of the night plotting my revenge. My body needs it; so does my soul.
This Nemesis system is brilliant. Every open world combat type game needs to copy this or elaborate on it.Comment

I'm like 17 hours in and still have only completed half of the story missions. And it's lovely!

Re: Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Target gave me $40 trade in. $20 with 100% bonus. Essentially I paid $20 for 60 hours of gaming. Not bad.

Thinking of getting this with the b2 get 1 next week. Would you all say its a AAA title? I usually only get games that are high in reply value.Comment

My only fear is repetitive gameplay. Our I should say what seems like it. Is that a real issue?Joshua:

I'm at 70% and just started having serious frame rate issues. Anyone else experience this? This is the first time
