From experience when your starting out its not easy. Far from it but as you level up you get stronger and start to dominate more.

There's no difficulty setting, but you can make the game as challenging as you see fit depending on the upgrades because there are no requirement to unlock new moves or use runes. Get one or two basic skill upgrades and stick with those if you want the game to remain difficult. I say get a basic upgrade so that you can at least see the execution animations.

Yeah, by all means you can do this. I personally love how you can make Tallion a bad-***, but even though you can tear up some orcs, you can still easily get yourself into situations where even with skills you can be overwhelmed and extremely challenged. But realized I am of limited stick skills so I need the runes.

To me, it was easy as well. I've read people say the opposite and death was a normal occurrence. I just never had that experience. In my entire play through I died once. But I also think it depends on where you go, who you fight and what upgrades you get.

One of the first upgrades I received (can't remember if it's an upgrade or item) is the ability to recover from a near death blow with a timely hit. So I won't sit here and say I didn't run through that option a few times early in the game. But obviously it helped me avoid death.

If you want a challenge, venture off immediately. You'll face guys you aren't exactly prepared to handle.

I played the game mostly in a linear fashion, following instructions and being introduced to moves as they were meant to be taught. That probably made the game easier for me.

Just watched a preview for the Mad Max game. Not that interested in the movie but the game looks like another Mordor/Batman style with the addition of car stuff.

Bought this game months ago but since Dragon Age came out, it went on the shelf. Now I have time to play this & man does it feel harder than I remember. When I first played I dont think I died once in the first 6 hours, now I have died a bunch & these orcs are laughing in my face!!! Not nice...

I feel it's too simple to take down Captains.

Any person that says this game was easy in any way or only died once during the whole play through, etc; I truly applaud your skills (no sarcasm). Certain aspects of the game was easier than others, but I found infiltrating a stronghold to take down a war chief not easy at all.

I so loved this game for its variable levels of difficulty.

Don't let me kid you. It's not like I walked into these places throwing steel around and killing everything in my path with ease.

I just always made sure to get the hell away when times got tough so I could regroup.

I really mean it that I was lucky a good number of times. I ran into some really tough guys that didn't want to finish me off. Just luck on that end.

I thought it would be a similar experience for many. But me saying I died once (I really have no memory of what happens when you do die), it's not to toot my own horn. I'll be the first to admit I suck at games but somehow this one was very nice to me.

Still loved it. Having to step out of a stronghold to figure a new strategy was a pleasure. I just found ways to stay alive, I guess.

I think there are a few challenging characters. The weapon masters. Outside of them the other guys require some effort but are beatable. But the weapon masters were tough for me.

Epic battle when you face-off with a weapon master. I once happened to get one off by himself and I swear our fight went on for 30 minutes.

Weapon masters? Is that what they are called or did they have a different name in game? I'm not sure I recall.

What's the DLC like for this game? Worth it?

Get Games has just the game for $20 or I can get the game plus a lot of DLC for $30 from Bundle Stars.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what they were called. They are buggers, especially when you have other orcs around to battle too.
