No, apparently you have to find it. I got about 8 hours played and haven't found one yet.

If I remember right, it works basically like The Division where, for example, it would show a dot representing where your friend is, but if you're not in the same server, you wouldn't see them. Do we know if these two are in the same server?

Writing was on the wall when they said PS Plus wasn't required. At that point I knew there wouldn't be anything related to multiplayer.

Still going to enjoy the game regardless.

What is interesting is that each guys screen says that the guy streaming discovered where they are at. What happens if they both upload the same discovery?

They both seem to be lacking in the common sense department and that hasn't occurred to them yet. People keep telling them to log off and log back in to hopefully jump to the other's server.

I don't think its a huge deal or anything, just glad it has been confirmed now after a lot of speculation pre-release.

They are in the same exact area! Can't see each other, unfortunately!

Yeah, doesn't kill it for me in any way, but would like to actually be able to see another user at some point. The draw for me in this game is the "alone" factor and the feeling of just how huge space is.

Yeah, they are in the same spot but it is different time of day and weather for each guy. Seems like you play in your own instance but the names get pulled from server after things have been uploaded

I said this before, but I really do believe it will be in an update down the road. Some kind of simple 2 player co op

The main thing I am curious about now is if big changes stick to a planet, like if I dug my own grand canyon, will stick. Wasn't that the line from Sean awhile ago? Big things stay, small things are re-gen'd
