    Right.

There was definitely a moment where I looked at a planet and thought, "would be really cool if there was a living, breathing metropolis here."

But there isn't. And I knew that from basically day one when they said there wouldn't be cities.

So if I'm going to pay for this game and get upset there aren't cities in it, that's on me. No one told me there would be so I'm not going to rant about it because I started the game up and confirmed there weren't any cities.

found slot 37, it opened up another row, so at least can go up to 42. I'm going to try and hold off on getting more and get a new ship. I've never going to get it cause i keep spending my money.

So I'm definitely not disappointed because I didn't assume things that I wanted. I got exactly what was promised.

It does seem the complaints are from people saying, "I didn't expect this" or "I didn't know what kind of game it was."

        That's the gamers fault.

They said it would have cooperation and interaction between players, and after 2 years giving vague explanations about the game, they started talking that you could possibly find another player but it would be improbable.

But ok, the game is what it is, and there's nothing changing it. Those who like it will keep liking it, those who don't like will not play, and in the end, i just hope that people (consumers and devs) start thinking about how bad hype can be.

NMS has a great art style, great soundtrack and i really like its color palette. I can't deny it, and i shouldn't.

You may find the link helpful. It gives you tips and a quick snapshot of what the game is all about.

You’ll likely want to upgrade your suit as soon as possible, as things feel pretty cramped right off the bat. The best way to do this is by exploring planets (look for green questions marks) for drop sites and crashed ships, talking to aliens, and buying upgrades from the galactic trade network. If you spot suit upgrades for sale, these are arguably one of the best uses for your currency during the early part of the game. You’ll spend less time micro-managing your inventory, though the price increases every time you buy a slot.

So No Man's Sky is here and you finally want to play it? Don't go in unprepared! Here's what's in store, as well as a few tips for starting out!
Best thing about this game is it's a nice break from my other games played, where you don't know what you'll see and where your going to next. Knowing how passionate the devs are, I'm sure that we will be seeing new contents down the road.

If you guys didn't see, Gamespot gave it a 7 and it was a very good and in depth review. I personally would give it a solid 8. But I think 7 is a fair score.

Here's what 8 hours have gotten me so far, I'm done for the day w/ board game night and some family stuff going on.

Spent the entire day today on one planet w/ mean sentinels, which qualifies as extreme conditions I believe.

My score is incomplete because I've just been exploring to be honest. I've been having fun but I know I've only really scratched the surface. If you put a gun to my head and made me give it a score, I'd say 7 or 8 out of 10 right now

On various planets you can find "Drop Pods" which contain suit upgrades. You do have to pay for most of them, and the cost increases with each subsequent suit upgrade, so be sure to have some units on you.

This game is what the suspend feature on PS4 was designed for. It's so pick up and play friendly. So nice to be able to turn on and be right were I left off very quickly compared to loading from scratch. Since there's no rush or push as far as missions it let's me hop in for 20 minutes to check out a couple questions markers, or gather some resources, scan some flora/fauna, jump to another planet, etc. And then suspend for an hour or whatever till I get another block of time.

Unlike most games where I feel I've got to spend an hour at least on a quest or level etc.

I found them a lot of times by searching for "Shelter" at the signal scanners you repair with a bypass chip. Once you know what the pods look like you can fly around a planet over its question marks and spot them from the air.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, no doubt, and I am not saying you shouldn't post it here or anything, I'm just saying that this is actually why I avoid game threads until I form my own opinion.

For example , I've got about 100 hours in Far Cry and I've never yet visited that thread but I'd bet if I do I'd see a lot of reasons to hate the game and may never have kept playing it if I had..

Yeah I think one of the cool things about this game is you can really play at your own pace and really not feel forced one way or another
