That would provide a reason to upgrade to a larger, badder, ship. I suspect as time goes on the developers will add more content. At the moment the excitement seems to be to get a larger cargo hold to hold more "stuff". Like buying a new house for more closet space.
But that closet space is very much needed! Haha.

FYI to change settings on PC yo have to hold down button first

Can't decide if I wanna use my controller or keyboard/mouse. Maxed out all the settings, restarting

I appear to have crashed on an extremely toxic planet with acid rain. Wish me luck!

Set my FOV to 90, feels good

You have to hold buttons for everything in this game, even for PS4. You start to catch onto it really fast.

The only two things I don't think I've had to hold down for are when crafting an object and when initiating a landing.

PC version downloading for me, it's going unusually slow for me, doesn't look like I'll get much time in it before getting back to work.

PC version doesn't appear properly support 21:9 ratio. UI is stretched.

Yup, exacerbates the already low quality of the text, all looks kinda fuzzy for some reason.

One funny thing, I immedieatly set my graphics settings up, so it had me restart, then put me on a different planet.

Early PC impressions are not good. Don't know if you guys are experiencing the same thing. Massive FPS drops and lag.

The terrain textures look really bad, specifically in that first screen. Is it the stretching or are they just not great?

The first screen is windowed, default settings (low shadows, high textures I think). That's how it loaded on startup.

2nd screen also has a FOV of 100, ended up lowering that to 85 or so. Will probably have to play this in a window cause the UI stretched bugs the heck out of me.

Despite this, doubt I'll refund it or anything, like the concept, and hopeful they'll make the PC version better.

With a 980Ti it does chug sometimes, need to tinker w/ settings.

I was getting lag/FPS drops when the game first started. I turned off vsync and set FPS to max (launches capped at 30) and haven't had issues since.

I'm running from a SSD so I'm sure that helps?

I can move it to my SSD, and have FPS at 60, can bump that to max. Probably drop shadows to low because I'm sure that's really expensive in a voxel-based game, and tinker more after work.

I explored a cave, repaired my ship, killed some sentinels (they shot first!) and docked at the nearest station. Productive 45 minutes.
