 Re: No Man's Sky

Yeah...if the gameplay isn't super fun I don't quite get the hook as much. I'm not big into Minecraft either though, so one of those "sandbox do whatever you want" games isn't in my wheelhouse.

We'll see...I get the feeling that they haven't developed the rest yet, so it'll be a while.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

 Re: No Man's Sky

Game is most likely at least a year away so personally, I dont want them to announce everything that's in the game. Rather see and read little tidbits here and there as they will keep me interested and hyped for the game.Comment

 Re: No Man's Sky

I know what you mean but if they don't announce something then a lot of people are going to be skeptical about the game. Most of us are gonna still get the game but they should clear up some of the little things that worry us.Comment

 Re: No Man's Sky

 Gimme now please...

That’s two to the power of 64 planets, which Sean tells us would take about five billion years to explore if you spent one second on each; and that's with no bathroom breaks. Given that the Earth’s sun has about 4.6 billion years of fuel left before it flickers out and dies, that pretty much ensures no one will ever see every planet in No Man’s Sky. So yeah, not infinite, but really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really big. Even bigger than what you’re thinking right now. No, bigger.Patrick Mahomes > GodComment

 Re: No Man's Sky

It really almost sounds too good to be true. I guess as long as there are things to do on each of these planets then the game will probably be a classic."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Happened to look at the No Man's Sky page on Wikipedia and it mentions a reference to a game called Noctis. Anyone ever play it? The games sound incredibly similar.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

 Re: No Man's Sky

 I doubt it will be ready in that time, personally. Even if they announce a 2015 date, I'm looking at delay probably until Q2 2016.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I guess that for a game as ambitious as this, we should probably EXPECT it to be awhile. Hopefully, it will be well worth it.#LFC
