I'm guessing No Man's Sky will be a 2016 release for PS4 and Morpheus. When Morpheus gets released, im expecting NMS to be released the same day. I would be very surprised if NMS gets released this year.

Gamestop has listed an expansion pack announced for Ps4 and PC by Hello Games and Sony.

In addition to the standard $60 version of No Man's Sky for PC and PlayStation 4, fans who want to spend more will be able to. Sony also today announced an $80 Limited Edition PS4 version for retail, while iam8bit and developer Hello Games have partnered to make a $150 "Explorer's Edition" for the PC edition.

The Limited Edition comes with the game in a steelbook case, as well as the following content:

<li>Adventures in No Man's Sky Comic - Featuring two stories set in the No Man's Sky universe, with contributions from Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Star Trek: Titan writer James Swallow, and sci-fi illustrator Angus McKie</li>
<li>The Art of No Man's Sky - 48 page art book featuring a host of concept art</li>
<li>PS4 Dynamic Theme - Immerse yourself in the world of No Man's Sky with this unique PlayStation®4 system theme with beautiful abstract art inspired by the game's vast, mysterious universe.</li>
<li>Bonus In-game DLC:</li>
PHOTONIX CORE - An advanced ship boost that will speed up your voyage as you travel through the stars.

The $150 Explorer's Edition is described as a "lovingly crafted package, designed to evoke a sense of space nostalgia via the inclusion of a tin toy-style ship replica."</ul>



Its centerpiece is a metal cast ship replica. iam8bit said it's "spared no expense" to achieve "hyper-detail" for this ship, which is hand-painted. The bundle also comes with some decals you can apply to the ship's body, while it also features a removable background display.

The Explorer's Edition is limited to 10,000 units, so if you're interested, you may want to preorder soon. Note that this version comes with a PC code you can redeem through Steam.

This is why I love procedure-generated game design. Same reason I love the new XCOM so much.

But man, this absolutely puts even that to shame.

It all sounds very impressive but it remains to be seen if it will be fun to actually explore planets.

One of the most interesting games of all time though at this point.

Some new information from the many previews conducted over the week that was recently discovered by playing the game. Fascinating!

<b>Changes you make to a planet are permanent</b> - When you land on a planet, anything you do to the world is permanent. You'll be able to use your gun to zap away rocks or create makeshift dwellings to protect against hazardous weather, or dig to unearth sub-levels--possibly as deep as the planet's core. If you dig a hole like a worm through an apple, that hole will be forever locked into the planet, adding a whole new depth to the game.

<b>Planets are actually planet-sized</b> - Every planet is different--some are small, others big--but they're all scaled in such a way that you can spend hours and even days just walking their surface.

<b>There are aliens in the game, and you'll have to learn their languages</b> - You won't be the only sentient life form in No Man's Sky; planets are teeming with different alien species, all of which vary in personality, technology, and cultural trails. Each race of aliens speaks a different language, and players will have to learn and decipher linguistics to communicate.

Very rarely do I dive head first into a game; but I honestly don't want to know anything else and let this game lead the way.

Then I worry about not liking it, lol and regretting the impulse purchase.
