I love Days Gone. 9.5/10. 2019 GOTY. 3rd best game of the gen for me personally. Can't wait for the sequel on PS5!!!

Not official official but Bend Studio is already in pre-production for their next game which will be for PS5 and it would be shocking if it wasn't Days Gone 2 especially when Sony green-lights games based on if they can become franchises. Days Gone is the 6th best all time selling exclusive on PS4. Soon to be 5th when it surpasses Bloodborne.

No not yet! We are finally taking down hordes though and I am finding new ways to have awesome kills!!! This game rocks!

The hordes are amazing. They jump, rush, surround, dodge, etc. Love the hordes. Days Gone is an excellent game. Was my dream zombie/freaker game that I have wanted since 2012 come true and is my 2019 game of the year. Definitely underrated by critics.

Just finished the game this week, I loved it. It dragged in certain parts but the characters were great and I found myself almost as attached to them as I did the main characters in RDR2. The gameplay was solid and I found myself loving the hordes more than I thought I would. I expected to churn through this game in a matter of weeks but it took me months because I found myself driving around taking out camps, re-stocking, just enjoying the atmosphere. Sequel will be a day-one buy for me.

I might even start a new game on the harder difficulties (I did the game on Hard) I enjoyed it that much. I didn't even pick up on a ton of gameplay things until late-game.

These are almost my exact sentiments. Granted I'm not finished yet. I don't know how far I am, but I believe I probably still have quite a bit to go. But I get lost in a lot of the side things as well. Clearing camps and uncovering new things on the map only distract me from the main story, but at the same time I'm having a ton of fun doing just that. I can't drive past a camp or an infestation zone and not clear those, even if it may involve the headache of a nearby horde. This game is challenging but I'm enjoying it because of that. As far as the story, again I don't know how far I am into it, but I am digging it along with the characters as well. I hope to finish this by the time the new Star Wars game comes out, but im definitely taking my time and enjoying this one. Great game.

Taking out Hordes is a lot of planning and a lot of work.

It is easily some of the most fun I have ever had with a non sports game video game!!!

Was this game considered a success, curious because if this gets a sequel I can definitely see being much improved. I don't have this yet besides playing a rented copy for a very short amount of time around release day but I willing to give it another run if I see a great discount, I just hope it isn't too long.

What do you mean by "hope it isn't too long" ? Are you referring to the length of the game? If so I'd say this game is long and for me it's unending so far. Even though I finished the game I load it up once or twice a week just to experience the awesome world. There is always something to deal with even after the story and side missions are done.

This is one game that will stay on my hard drive forever.

While Sony hasn't officially revealed sales numbers, it's speculated to be over 4m or so worldwide and is officially the 6th best selling PlayStation 4 exclusive of the generation and should surpass Bloodborne before the game is a year old. Sequel wise, im fully expecting that Bend Studio's game that is currently in pre-production is Days Gone 2. Would be very surprised if it wasn't.

Improvement wise, majority would just be technical issues, bugs, glitches, optimization and polishing. And also adding way more HUD options and whatnot for the sequel.

The story and characters are great and yes, it is a LONG story but I prefer longer story missions as opposed to a shorter story and way too much optional side content.

Took out my first horde, last night. It was the Chemult Horde that you HAVE to kill for a mission. Not ashamed to admit that I cheesed the hell out of them. Got inside the cafe and they couldn’t get to me. Rained down on them from above. Lol! Got the job done, tho.

There is no cheese in taking out Hordes!!! Anyway to get her done!

I finished the main story today!!! Outstanding.

Now to go for 100% completion!!! Horde hunting galore!!

So wow......big reveal there with the NERO guy was crazy. I did not see that coming!

I really hope they make a sequel for the PS5 one day. Meantime my goal now is take out every single horde. I have really gotten great at mowing them down. What I love is the different ways to do it. So much fun.
