When you factor in the global sales overall it did pretty well from what I've read so all signs point to a sequel coming. I believe I even read the studio is confirmed to working on its next game.

Finished this up yesterday. Good game, but I was tired of it at the end with the samey, tedious missions...not to mention the hordes. Really started to lose interest but stuck it out. Also had some game breaking bugs and geometry issues, but could have been from all the fast traveling I was doing.

Set up a sequel for sure, and if the mission variety is increased and there's a little more depth, I'll check it out for sure.

Finished this up Saturday. All Hordes have been exterminated. Did every single mission as well.

I've just started this game but I like some of the design decisions. I like that you have to manage your fuel and your limited ammo and that stealth is very important because you risk getting swarmed if you go in guns blazing. A lot of games have stealth but don't punish you enough if you fail at stealth kills. You just can't mow enemies down and expect to be successful (at least early in the game).

I also like the decision that you can only save when you're near your motorcycle and that you need enough fuel to fast travel. (I don't fast travel myself).

You are just scratching the surface Bhurst. It only get's better and stealth is a huge part of this brilliant game.

                Enjoy!!

You may have done yourself an injustice by fast traveling. Part of the greatness of this game are the things you encounter riding from place to place, also managing fuel and so on. My recommendation would be to NEVER fast travel.

What were some of the things that came up? I only saw the random bodies you could hunt and track, people trapped in cars, and random marauder ambushes. I drove a lot early on but fast traveled in the end as I was getting bored and wanted to finish the side missions and final quests.

Alright, saw those as well. I was thinking that there were random events or story bits I missed.

Was still a good game on the whole and I enjoyed it and got my money's worth...even if I was rushing at the end.

                                Re: Days Gone

I finished the story earlier this week, I definitely loved this game.

Just to compare to another great game in RDR2...I'll say that I loved RDR2 as well. I do feel that RDR2 dragged during a few sections of the game, and it felt like I was going nowhere for a while. I ended up getting burned out/took a few week-long breaks from RDR2. Again, I loved RDR2, but just to compare it to my experience with Days Gone, I NEVER got bored or burned out with Days Gone. I didn't fast travel once, because I was so sucked in to not only the story and main missions, but all of the random occurrences that pop up throughout the map. I wish there was a way to find how many hours I poured into Days Gone, but I'd guess around 50 or so. And I loved every second of it.

I haven't fired up my PS4 in a few days, but I guess they just put out a new update for the game. From what I've read...

                                Spoiler

Anyways, Days Gone will definitely go down as a favorite of mine in this generation of gaming. I have a few hordes to clean up, and a few more trophies for the platinum (I've never gotten a platinum trophy), but I think I'll finally do just that and keep playing this game for a bit.
