Some of the ways you get the law on you is annoying as ****.

I run into a guy on horse and we both crash. He gets up shooting which is completely understandable. I do what any bad-*** in my situation would do and kill him. Now there's a witness reporting a crime on me. Wtf was I supposed to do?!

A door was locked so I figured I could just shoot the lock off and get in. Wrong. Wrong. Crime reported for obstruction of property or some **** like that.

I'm about to be on my **** tha police **** because I can't keep paying these bounties.

I’m in the free roam portion after the epilogue and I’ll admit, I’m stuck. There are so many things to do but I get sidetracked super easy. I’m out hunting and I see a stranger mission, so I start that, then, someone challenges me to a race, which I do. How am I supposed to stay focused?

I've tried to kill my way out of trouble and next thing you know there are 6 people on a trail that previously hadn't seen traffic in days probably.

It's like the game just generates people to snitch on you sometimes even when you're away from bigger towns or cities.

The first example I gave I'm chasing the witness and 2 other guys appear on either side of him right when I get close enough to catch him in the crosshairs. Now I gotta run away or kill the police, then go pay the bounty, and then finally get back to trying to get to the mission started I was set on in the first place.

Not a game killer or anything like that but it's annoying as ****.

I tried to sneak down to Blackwater and watched 5 lawmen literally spawn out of thin air right in front of me and open fire.

Just got to Chapter 5 the other night. As much as I'm loving this game, I'm also kind of getting burned out with it. I've only been playing it, at most, every other day and for short spurts. Not sure if I'll ever do another play through or not.

Wow. I can’t put this game down. I will end up with probably 150-175 hours offline solo play (I don’t care for online at all).

Still on Chapter 5 and living the life of an outlaw to the fullest. My honor is far left in the red. I am a mean SOB. William Mony man.

You have to power through Chapter 5 and the game starts getting substantially better in my opinion. I know some people who would love to be stuck in some earlier chapters, but for me all the hand holding and missions like one just to give me a fishing rod were too much and I was about to give up on the game.

I’ve been thinking that from early, EARLY on, but once I got to chapter 6, every time I talk to him, I choose “antagonize” because, seriously screw that guy.

So I am slow playing the heck out of this game and with immense pleasure.

Staying on chapter 5 (Saint Denis).

So tonight we will focus on finding some dinosaur bones, hunting Panthers and Cougars and exploring. I have found and run into some cool **** up on the Roanoke area.

Such an amazing free roam game.

Yeah I quickly, for me, played thru the story so as to not have it spoiled and then restarted immediately for a slow burn play thru. Only on chapter 2 and almost as many hours invested as my whole first play thru.

I made it to Chapter 5 two nights ago. I'm a little over half way through it and it's been my favorite Chapter so far. I'm not really a big open world game guy. Hunting, crafting outfits, collecting cards, etc. just don't do anything for me. Also, missions in open world games tend to be a little more boring than missions in an linear/adventure games and that's one of the biggest reasons that i like linear games more.

However, the missions in Chapter 5 were actually really fun. Up until then I felt like the majority of the missions where extremely repetitive with a decent mission mixed in every now. It's was basically either your chasing someone or you get in a big shootout and then get chased, rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat.

But things really Ramped up in Chapter 5. The missions were someone similar but the action and environments as far as the exploding around you picked up a notch. I've read a lot of negative comments about Chapter 5 and still have three missions left so I suppose that those could be boring but I really enjoyed the first half of the chapter. From what I've seen Chapter 6 is supposed to pick up even more so I'm looking forward to that because the first half of the game was a chore to get through.
