Just finished the story at 87% total completion. Great ride and a wonderful game! Right there with the first Red Dead as a top 10 all-time game for me.

I will spend some time chipping away at the challenges and various activities to complete the game at 100%.

Just wanted to stop in and say that, at this point in time, grizzly bear encounters are frightening.

I was wandering about up in the snowy region yesterday and saw some interesting looking marking on a few trees. Thought maybe an elk or moose had rubbed their antlers on their trunks. Nope, grizzly bear. Roared just as I approached the tree and left me startled and running (and subsequently mauled).

I will say, grizzlies had that surprise factor in RDR1 too but you could also toy with them a little, running fast enough to create adequate distance to turn around and fire off an accurate shot. It's nice (well, kinda) to not be able to outrun a grizzly bear anymore.

Just a funny interaction I had with my wife related to the game.

Me: *puts plate my wife made for lunch in my lunchbox*

Wife: Will you stop moving the container off the top of your plate? It has BBQ sauce for your lunch in it.

Me: I didn't know that. I thought you were just stacking it a certain way to save space or something.

Wife: No babe, that's the sauce for your lunch. Sometimes you just gotta have faith in me.

Me: Are we going to Tahiti?

Wife: What?

Me: What?

This isn't the first time something like this has happened either.

I haven't touched the game in a month or so. I jumped on today and spawned near Rhodes. I went by the General store and just milled about. I actually turned the HUD off to get more immersed. I over hear the Sheriff at an execution making a speech. It was for one of the bounties I grabbed. Anyway, I'm listening to the speech and the Sheriff is talking about how the guy was trying to be a simple farmer after a life of robbing and killing. I couldn't help it, I had to get dude out of there. I know it was wrong but I couldn't help but think of my man John from RDR1. "Outlaws for life, *****!"

FINALLY crafted every outfit provided by the trapper. It was taking forever for me to find the second perfect armadillo. I didn’t even get a trophy! Seems like you should, because that was a LOT of work. 😞

Speaking of outfits and challenges. I'm still simmering on chapter 4 and I'm getting to the point where I can't complete some challenges because I can't get to some parts of the map. That means I can't unlock some equipment set bonuses until near or at end game. Bummer.

The REAL issue for me is that I'm at 95% completion and a few of the challenges I have left are really, really daunting. I've never 100% completed a game and I want this one to be the first.

I've been looking at the map trying to plot the best way to get from Van Horn to Blackwater in 17 minutes. Lol!

Speaking of which, I don't know anything about dominoes. Can anyone help me with what I'm supposed to do for its challenge (around Challenge 4 or so)?

Edit: It's 3 rounds won without drawing. Does that mean without passing on any turns?
