I will never understand why companies give stat boosts/money/gear as preorder bonuses for single player. Why anyone would want to start off with any of those things is beyond me.

I tried tweeting at Rockstar Support, but all they did was direct me towards the "articles" on their support page. All of those articles are pretty meaningless because they only tell you where to pre-order the game and what GTA$ bonuses you get for pre-ordering digitally. I replied to their reply, but I will be surprised if they actually answer the question.

In my experiences with these types of preorders they always came as separate downloads.

Physical version usually had like 3 different codes on the receipt that you inputted and digital usually have 2 or 3 different download add ons.

The question will be will Rockstar separate the mission DLC download from the bonus one. I would imagine they would, if so you would just need to cancel the boost dlc when it starts downloading. Problem being they are usually very small so it usually only takes a couple of seconds for those DLCs to dload so try to catch it when it's in Queue.

        I hope that helps.

Hopefully you can delete them even if it does download. Assuming each preorder bonus is a separate download.

They do it because it gives people a reason to commit to the game before it even comes out. Easiest solution is probably not pre ordering unfortunately.

What’s even worse is locking exclusive missions behind a preorder. Usually bonus preorder missions are short and somewhat disappointing, but it’s still frustrating knowing you are missing out on content if you don’t preorder.

Any word on a season pass? I’m hoping there will be single player DLC.

All they need to do is remove the sprint from the A button put it on the left stick and come up with a better/quicker way to change weapons then it'll be a big improvement, similar to Assasins Creed Orgins control scheme.

Perhaps it's just the NFL 2K guy in me then, but I really do like tapping A/X to sprint. When I play Madden, I hate just holding a shoulder button for that kind of thing. Shooters clicking the stick is reasonable for those games.

I don't know what they are doing for the weapon wheel, but I was satisfied with it in GTA mostly because they slowed down time while doing it, even if I was confused about what was happening. I forget it Red Dead was the same.

If the controls are the exact same as gta v I’ll be fine with that.

Never got a reply from Rockstar on the Pre-Order content. Went with the special edition anyways because I want that SP content. Worst case scenario I just go and waste all of the money I get as a bonus by losing in poker on purpose. I can always not use the weapons you're gifted also.

Would be really funny if NPC's have money and the game saves that data so you make another guy extra rich, and he moves into a bigger place with fifteen horses, starts to wear nice outfits and smoke cigars, etc.

SERIOUSLY considering trading in my base X1 for a X1X specifically for this game (and every other multiplat games moving forward, but mainly this one). Any of you guys have a X1X? If so, you guys think it's worth it? I know this will look amazing either way, but just wanted to get some outside perspectives.
