Can someone please explain what you’re supposed to do with animals brought back to camp?

I lugged a dear to the little butcher icon on the map, but apparently couldn’t do anything with it??? So I pressed square to drop it, and it dropped it outside the camp.

Do I skin it first? Donate it somehow?

Doesn’t help that you can’t seem to review the little hints that pop up. I’ve missed or forgotten probably 80% of the stuff Rockstar wants you to know about this game with it’s hint system.

I'm pretty surprised at what it takes to unlock fast travel (not that I intend to use it) - seems like Rockstar really wants people to ride around and see what the world has to offer intead of just jumping between points of interest:

The second camp lodging upgrade, combined total of $545 for both the first and second. Not a sum you're going to be getting super early in the game unless you're robbing everything that moves.

I'll be looting bodies during the middle of a huge gun fight. Feels like I'm in the Naked Gun. Loot everything you can and find those money clips. I've already got the 250$ upgrade.

I love the seemingly random things that are included in this game. There was a creepy thing I found under a train track bridge once that I took a photo of... to be continued, I suppose. Also noticed that there are some businesses doing some illegal activity too.

I can't seem to find the "hours played" stat anywhere. Always something I like that Rockstar had included with every other game.

So I haven't checked to see if you can leave it on your hitched horse or not, but if you carry it to Pearson's table on the side and select the "donate" option, your more recent meat items will be at the very bottom of that list.

I never seem to get any money for the carcasses though, and every time I deliver something to him he always says they're low on it. Jerk lol.

So far, my one complaint is the size of text and icons. I had to move up a few feet within my living room just to have a shot of making out what things are. I'm sure there's a technological explanation, but one thing I haven't been fond of in the flatscreen HD era is the tendency for some games and sports to feel comfortable shrinking text. I'd rather things not get tougher to read on a 50'' flatscreen than they were on a 20'' tube.

Loving these impressions.

I have had the game since Friday.....and have not played a single minute yet. Life can be crazy sometimes LOL!!!!

But today.....no doubt we will finally start our RDR2 journey. I probably logged now...mmmmmm 300 hours into Skyrim (PS3) and Skyrim Remastered...which I hold as the pinnacle of open world RPG’s.

Reading everything here.....and loving RDR on PS3, this game may be the pinnacle of open world adventures.

1) I get paid giving some items to Pearson, including pelts. Just not the carcasses.

2) Now, the butcher is someone I'm having trouble bringing up anything to do with. I bring items or bring nothing, and I can't seem to buy or sell anything despite his sign.

Just wanted to pop in for a sec to give my feels...

Absolutely loving it. Sure there are a couple items I feel could have been done better but overall what a great game.

I'm usually a Goody Two Shoes but this game has me doing "bad" things and feeling right about it..

I've been mainly getting camp set up.. and doing my own exploring lately (bounties etc..) but sure I'll jump back into story stuff tonight.

I did accidentally shoot someone in the head that I was contemplating letting go.. ..I even said "****! sorry".. Made decision easy I guess lol..

Anyways simply loving the details and getting lost in the game world.

I think after you collect the 3 debts you can access it

It sits right next to the treasure box on a barrel, not in a tent





How are you guys getting money? I've had some terrible luck, accidentally removed some items in front of everyone in Valentine and had a bounty

Went back to pay it and accidentally got in a fight because i couldnt stop the horse and he ran into someone so the post office was locked

Spent the money on weapons because i ran out of ammo and now trying to get it all back


I was being nice, then i just got tired of everybody coming at me so i started shooting people on the road, killing snitches who told on me and now i feel like anybody out in the middle of nowhere with no witnesses who might have money is a goner [emoji38]

I did find another post office but i didnt have the money to pay off the bounty so i need to collect more.. any ideas?

Its seems to me there will always be a witness.

I need some help, I'm going on record to say that HDR on the PS4 PRO is broken, I have both versions and don't have an issue on the X, but I play RDR2 more on my Pro. I just stumbled upon this last night, go into settings and turn HDR off in the game menu and you will see a huge difference, the game looks far better with HDR off, they need a fix for this. With HDR on its so washed out it amazed me.


Please if anyone can check this and tell me your seeing the same thing, I'm keeping HDR off in game for now until they patch this if they ever do.

I think there's some issue across the board Royal B. I don't have HDR but I'm hearing problems on the X too. Was helping a cousin of mine who's inquiring and sent him this.

I also turned off HDR last night and feel the Game looks noticeably better.
