It’s the same this gen. PS3 era was different but all games are installed and run off the hard drive now.

Yup , same amount of space used hence I've gone all digital this time around. I picked up a 4TB external for my PS4 and X1 consoles for plenty of space.

Interesting. I'll take the $500,000 for GTA:O as an incentive to play it this summer, but I actually do not want to use that cash startup or treasure map for single player story mode. If I get the bonus, is there a way to circumvent actually putting money in my player's pocket? (clearly I can always avoid using that map)

Oh, and I pre-ordered last January. I assume if these pre-order bonuses leak into PlayStation as well that I would still be receiving them?

That just reminded me that I need to cancel my pre-order that I did with Amazon on the day it was first announced. Lol! I've gone to all digital since then.

Just preordered the special edition for the Pro and Ultimate for the Xbox X. Ya I have a problem but it's the only game I would do this for. Can't wait!!

Red Dead Redemption 2

Just reading stuff like the Wheeler Rawson and Co. catalogue in the pic above, and not knowing a damn thing about it, is bringing me back to the days leading up to RDR 1 and what that hype was like....Hell we didn't have any idea what lie ahead.

Suffice to say the hype is about 10x more right now for 2 and we're still (only!) 4 months away. I get giddy like a kid with excitement for this game.

I try to tone it back so it's not excruciating, but the leaked pre-order stuff just reignited it big time.

Packaged dlc is one thing, a mission and cosmetics that will ONLY unlock if you spend an extra $20 is another.
